Haneul sat at the kitchen table with both Sana and Mark. She had told them everything that had happened, and they were pretty upset over it too.
"What the hell is Jaemin's problem? I could never-"
"Sana," Haneul managed to say, her voice hoarse from all the crying. "I think we should talk about something else."
Her friend's face went soft as she looked at her. This was not how they wanted to spend the weekend. Especially Haneul.
The three stayed quiet again. No one really knew what to say. But the sound of the doorbell broke the awkward silence.
Mark stood up, about to go to the door, but Haneul gave him a small smile, and got up as well. "I'll go check it out," she told him, making her way to the door.
And the person at the door, well, people, was definitely not expected.
"Um....hi?" she managed to say as she opened the door, confusion washing over her face.
"Haneul!" Chenle cheerfully replied. Along with Jisung, Haechan, and Jeno.
"What are you guys doing here?" Haneul asked, stepping out of the way to let them in. She quickly wiped her face, hoping her tears from earlier were not evident.
"So, I heard what happened," Chenle told her, referring to everything that had occured earlier. He gave her a soft smile before giving her a hug. He didn't know it yet, but they would definitely become the best of friends.
Haneul returned the hug, and before she knew it, more tears were escaping her eyes. The boys stood awkwardly around, not knowing what to do or say. Chenle was the only one that was good at stuff like this.
"Sorry," she mumbled, pulling away and wiping her tears away.
Jeno gave her his signature eye smile
She returned the favor, and stepped back. "How did you guys find out?"
"Well," Jisung began. "Renjun Hyung, one of Jaemin hyung's best friends told us. And we just wanted to check up on you."
"You're our friend too," Haechan nodded as the boys agreed.
Haneul gave them a grateful smile, and led them inside to her living room. The name Renjun seemed familiar to the girl. And that's when she remembered Jaemin talking to the boy when she used to stay over with the said boy.
Haneul could feel the tears making it's way out of her eyes, but she told herself she wouldn't waste her tears on boys any more. Taking a deep breath, she walked into the living room, passing the kitchen.
Both Sana and Mark stood up from their chairs upon hearing the others. Haneul quickly introduced the two groups, and met Jeno, who she didn't know yet, too. Eventually, they all fell into some small talk.
She just sat a bit far from the rest, lost in her own thoughts. Sana was just talking to both Jisung and Chenle while Mark was talking to the rest.
"Are you okay?" someone asked, sitting down and knocking her out of her thoughts.
"Just perfect," Haneul mumbled, giving Haechan a smile.
"Look, I haven't known you long, but I know that smile's fake. I've seen your real one before."
Haneul's 'smile' faded when she realized what he meant. He had seen her real smile when she was with Jaemin and Hajoon. And thinking about them only made her feel worse.
"I know you feel like shit right now," Haechan began, giving her a small smile. "But I know Jaemin. And I know he would never purposfully do anything to hurt you."
Haneul gave him a look, and raised her eyebrows. "Why?"
"Because," Haechan said, seriously. "He loves you too much."
So, school is FINALLY over for me, so that means more time to update!!
And on another note, I kinda want more friends, so-
