Chapter 11 - Denying The Existence Of The Children

As the lights were turned off, moonlight filtered into the room through the windows onto the queen size bed that is occupied fully by the mother and her two children. 

YouYou hugged her two children as they quietly hugged her arms and and finally drifted off to sleep after a long day. She gently patted their backs as they slept and finally her mind has regained calm and peace.

Looks like she still need to go back to the Tang family mansion tomorrow and she need to be there when her father is around, so that even if the duo refused her, her father will surely have to agree to allow her to retrieve her mother's belongings.

The two little rascals, have finally entered deep sleep and were innocent like little angels as they slumbered. YouYou gently pulled out her already numb arms that have been used as their pillow and carefully crept out of bed, she turned and looked at her slumbering children one more time as a wave of gentleness settled all over her. Regardless how much wrong she had to suffer outside, in front of her children, she will not allow her weakness and suffering to show.

She opened her aunt's bedroom door and saw the WanLian was preparing to go to bed, she was already in her pajamas and sitting on her bedside drinking some water. "YouYou, they won't even return you your mother's belonging? Really despicable." WanLian immediately felt angry for her.

YouYou sat down with despair as she looked at her hands that was grasped tightly by that man and was still feeling a little sore. "YouYou, go find your father, talk to him nicely, I'm sure he will allow you to retrieve your mother's belongings." WanLian looked a depressed YouYou and though she was angry with the mother daughter duo, she was even more heartbroken for YouYou.

"Aunt, can you please accept my one request, please do not tell anyone else that I have two children, especially the Tang family....." YouYou raised her head as she plead with her aunt. "Of course, I will not even say a single word, I'll just tell others who asked about them that I am babysitting for someone will do." Aunt knew that YouYou made such a request only because she wanted to protect her children.

"Thank you aunt!" YouYou smiled and replied gratefully.

WanLian saw the great effort that YouYou put up in order to stay happy, she sighed and asked, "YouYou, who is the children's father, you really have no idea?"

"No I have no idea at all and do not wish to know." YouYou have never gave this a thought and have never dared to entertain such a though too.

"Sigh, if you know who the father is, you wouldn't need suffer yourself to bring up these children alone too."

"I do not find it a suffering actually, the children are very obedient and sensible, so I am already a blessed mother in my opinion." YouYou smiled at that, her two lovely children are her pride and joy and meant the world to her.

WanLian looked at YouYou and thought that circumstances really force a person to grow up, even when she still look so child-like....

Early next morning, YouYou woke up to her alarm clock and quickly got out of bed as she went tied up her hair into a pony tail and hurriedly went to the bathroom to prepare for the day.

"YouYou, are you awake?" WanLian called out from the kitchen as she prepared breakfast.

"Yup, the children still need to go to school for school registration." YouYou quickly finished preparing herself, then went to wake her children and started to prepare them too. 

She woke her son up first and prepared a set of shirt and pants for him to dress in, "Mummy... Huggggg....." XiaoRui said with his sleepy eyes still half shut, obviously he hasn't slept enough but he looked totally adorable as he stretched his hands out towards YouYou.

YouYou carried him and propped him on her lap and helped him change his clothes while she secretly pecked little kisses on his cheek as she goes. XiaoRui's sleepy face is so adorable that he did not mind it at all.
