Chapter 53 - Finding Out The Truth

"Spoil my reputation? You?" XueRou felt incredulous that YouYou dared to stake such a claim, "You should know that I know enough paparazzis who has nothing better to but to speculate and create gossips out of nothing. I'm quite sure before you are able to spoil my reputation, you would be put Long put down by everyone."

"Oh, so you have no intention at all to return me my things right?" YouYou knew that she is no threat alone against the clout XueRou enjoys as a celebrity.

"That's right!" XueRou looked smug as she replied.

"Ok, in that case I have no choice but to approach XiaoHan, I will tell him that the person who slept with him five years ago was me instead..... And not you XueRou." YouYou spelled out word for word matter of factly and the weight of those words crushed the very soul of XueRou.

The last time round when YouYou was at XiaoHan's villa and had that conversation with him bout XueRou, she already suspected that the reason he was involved with XueRou was definitely because of something that had happened. However seeing what happened today when XueRou was frantically preventing her from meeting XiaoHan, determined to drive her out of the country meant that she have something she feared of. YouYou's speculation seems to be spot on. She spat out those words only because she was desperate, she did not expect XueRou to collapse unceremoniously on the sofa, her face looked ashen. Therefore, she continued with along that narrative, "XiaoHan have faithfully supported you, not because you were more beautiful than other woman, after all there were many other more beautiful woman than you in the entertainment circle. So why should he even specially take care of you? Moreover, the time you start to excel was about the same time I left the country five years ago and I can't help but relate it to what happened that night, five years ago."

"YouYou Tang, stop spouting nonsense right here, right now. How would you know that I haven't slept with XiaoHan before? How did you know too that he person you slept with as XiaoHan?" XueRou began to pull her wits together and calmed herself down.

YouYou pursed her lips as if trying to recall, "Halfway through, I woke up and saw his face. "Why did he need you to even save him? What a joke! This sounds more and more nonsensical!" XueRou refused to admit that YouYou was the woman who have slept with XiaoHan that night. She wished that it had been her instead.

"Because I don't think XiaoHan was very normal that night, probably someone drugged him....." YouYou was making things up along the way. XueRou finally understood why XiaoHan slept with YouYou on that fateful night. So, it happened because he was drugged. Just what kind of dog luck did YouYou have? She was so badly beaten up that night, yet the man she slept with had to be that perfectly sculpted XiaoHan. XueRou was so frustrated and furious that she clenched her fists tightly, "YouYou Tang, just what is it that you want?"

"Return me my jade, pendant, then give me $50 million, I will leave this country and never get involved with you and XiaoHan ever." YouYou was also considering her options, she truly regretted her decision to return. She didn't expect to be visited by her children's father right on the second day of her return. He even tried to steal her children from her, so she must find a way to leave with her children quickly. Once she get back her mother's jade pendant and have some money, she will leave this country for good and finally be able to relax.

"You.... Are you serious? You will really leave the country immediately if I give you $50 million and return you tat jade pendant?" XueRou was so afraid that YouYou would go ahead and meet XiaoHan to tell him the truth that she didn't expect her to turn around with her own conditions instead. It really took her by surprise.

YouYou wants to leave the country as soon as she could, as long as there's enough money for her to raise her children, she would gladly leave for good and never return.

"Yes, I will leave the country immediately and will no longer be involved with you and XiaoHan's affairs." As a woman, YouYou could intuitively sense that XueRou was truly in love in XiaoHan. Back at the restaurant, she noticed how her every actions and behaviour showed how badly she wanted to be loved by XiaoHan. In some sense, she pitied XueRou for her unrequited love as it was pretty obvious that XiaoHan was not interested in XueRou and this was all one sided.

"YouYou, do not lie to me, earlier on you saw for yourself too how perfectly suave XiaoHan was, I don't believe that you, as a woman was not even a little charmed by him at all? Be frank with me, are you trying to cheat me for my money?" XueRou really could not believe YouYou was not even a little charmed by XiaoHan.

YouYou pursed her lips again as if deep in thoughts, she then replied with disdain and sarcasm, "XueRou, the man you like, must it be the man I like too? XiaoHan looks really normal, I don't see what's so attractive about him, moreover, that icy cold demeanour is so unappealing. I'll rather not want him even if he's given to me."

This was the first time XueRou actually heard someone criticising XiaoHan to this extent. She was completely taken aback, she even suspected if YouYou was thinking right.

"Is this for real? You are really not saying it for the sake of saying but you actually don't mean it from the bottom of your heart? If I found out that you took my money and then still find ways to contact him, you will suffer for it." XueRou looked at YouYou's determined face and had no choice but to give her benefit of doubt, however she is still doubtful and suspicious of whatever she said. After all, she knew that any women who had seen him before would be so mesmerised by his handsome face that they would throw themselves at him willingly.

YouYou laughed mirthlessly, her expression proud as she affirmed, "You can be sure that I will never in my life want to see that man ever again because I hate him."

XueRou was taken aback again.

"Why would you hate him?" XueRou was getting more and more curious, as long as YouYou had no intention to vie with her for XiaoHan, she was willing to be friendlier towards her.

"No particular reason, just that five years ago, he hurt me so much that I will never forget what he did to me. Whoever dares to hurt me will never be pardoned by me ever." YouYou's beautiful eyes was clouded with fury as she said determinedly.

"You felt that having slept with XiaoHan was a disgraceful and disadvantaged thing? YouYou, I think you are really ridiculous. Did you know how many woman wished with all their heart to have just one night with XiaoHan?" XueRou found YouYou truly admirable for daring to say such things if it were all true.
