Chapter 54 - Decided To Leave With Her Children

YouYou was in total disbelieve, even XueRou that was proud as a peacock, thought that to be able to sleep with XiaoHan was an honour. This is such a joke.

"I can't be bothered anymore, I will leave the moment you give me the jade pendant and the money." YouYou felt that XueRou looked like a person who have been chronically addicted and could no longer be saved. Is XiaoHan's charm really that great and powerful? YouYou raised an eyebrow when she heard XueRou's conditions. She is really fast becoming a vicious and cruel woman as well as a smart one.

"Of course!" YouYou's only concern and priority now is money and her children's custody, everything else didn't matter.

As soon as XueRou finished what she said, she went to prepare and print out a copy of the contract and made sure to list out everything that was said.

"Sign! As long as you have no intention to vie with me over XiaoHan, I will still acknowledge you as my sister." XueRou's attitude towards YouYou made a 180 degrees turn around because she can finally heave a sigh of relief and drop that five year old stone. For the first time since then, she could finally relax.

"Forget it, I have never acknowledge you as my sister and never will!" YouYou have no intentions to pull strings and pretend to be close to her.

XueRou's face darkened, "YouYou Tang, don't you dare be a haughty bitch, I was willing to acknowledge you as my sister proved that I was willing to be generous and start anew, if we were to bring up all our past incidents and misgivings, I really can't be bothered with you."

YouYou harrumphed with indignity, but she ignored her and proceed to sign on the contract. She then gathered up her mother's belongings, stood up and left through the great entrance.

XueRou looked at the signed contract, her lips curved into a big victorious smile. With this contract as a guarantee, she can finally sleep peacefully, knowing that YouYou will never come in between of XiaoHan and her anymore. She filed the contract safely away and proceeded to call her friend up, if she was not mistaken, that jade pendant should have been taken by that friend.

The phone rang a few times and finally connected, a sweet voice sounded from the other end, "Yo, the big celebrity has finally decided to hook me up."

"HuiYi, do you remember five years ago, when you visited me at my place, you took a jade pendant?" XueRou cut straight to the point.

HuiYi Zhang momentarily froze at the mention of the jade pendant and then immediately denied, "What jade pendant? I don't remember having such a thing."

"How could you not remember? That time you saw it and begged me to give it to you remember? is that jade pendant still with you? I need it urgently back, can you please bring it back quickly?"

"XueRou, you've really mistaken, I didn't take that jade pendant, and I've never sent a jade pendant before." HuiYi immediately sounded like she had been wronged.

"You took it, I remember it very clearly. Quickly find it and return it back to me tomorrow. This is very important to me." XueRou started fuming, how could it be so difficult for her to retrieve a gift she had given to a friend.

HuiYi jumped a little when the line was cut off abruptly. The reason why HuiYi was so reluctant to hand over the jade was because it held a great big secret. Around a year ago, she coincidentally saw another gold inlaid jade pendant that was the same on she had in a museum, that time, the curator happened to be right beside her and told her that that piece of jade pendant was donated to museum by a very wealthy old man. He said that this was originally supposed to be a pair. Carved into the middle of each jade pendants are the characters "Feng" and "Huang", "Feng" represented the male half of the phoenix, while "Huang" represented the female half. These jade pendants where initially bestowed upon his twins grandchildren born to his family, however the boy passed away when he was one years old due to a disease, while the girl as somehow lost, taken away from their family.

HuiYi did not want to return this jade pendant solely because she came to knew the shocking secret the jade pendant held. She knew XueRou when they became friends in school since young, she also knew that XueRou was not Tang family's descendent, so she suspected if XueRou could have been the lost baby girl from that wealthy family. HuiYi envied XueRou's status and reputation as well as the mighty sponsor she had that was supporting her financially, so she refuse to return this jade pendant as she certainly did not want XueRou to have an additional layer of status as the wealthy family's daughter.

When YouYou reached home, the two little rascals are still wide awake and have been making a din in the living room, the whole house was filled with their laughter.

"Brother, come catch me! Catch me if you can....." XiaoNai have just finished her bath, her waist length black hair that have been blown dry fell around her neatly and made her looked like a perfect little angel, she was running around the living room dressed in her little nightgown.

XiaoRui chased after her for a few rounds later, stopped when he felt winded, "Nah, forget it, this is so boring."

"Nooooo, brother, play with me..... Stop playing your boring electronic games already." XiaoNai pouted as she grabbed her brother's hand and swung it a little as she whined and begged him to play with her. It looked so adorable. Although the two little fellas were born on the same day, XiaoRui was really the little man, his height has always been half head taller than XiaoNai. At this moment, when they stood together, XiaoRui really looked like the brilliant brother.

"Mummy is home!" XiaRui saw the door opened and in came YouYou, he immediately perked up and ran to the door to hug her, "Mummy, did you go on a date with some uncle?"

YouYou chortled at her son's funny question, "You think too much, I went out to meet an old friend for a chat was all."

"Mummy, I want to see daddy again, can I?" XiaoNai delicately hugged YouYou's other leg, and raised her head to look at YouYou with puppy eyes as she carefully asked.

XiaoNai stooped down to look at her daughter's eyes as she gently patted her on her head and said, "XiaoNai, you have brother to play with right? Can we not look for daddy anymore? Mummy bring you back to our previous home, and the three of us can live happily again like before."

XiaoRui's little mind started up like a clockwork when he heard what YouYou said that she wants to bring them back to their previous home, that's to say..... They are going back overseas?
