Chapter 42 - Your Mummy Will Whack Me

XiaoNai who was leaning on XiaoHan's shoulder suddenly perked up when she heard her mummy's footsteps. Her little mouth curved downwards and cried, "Mummy, where are you going?"

"I.... I am going out for a walk!" YouYou dare no look back, she was afraid that the moment she look back, her tears would roll down unchecked.

"Are you going back? Mummy, I will go back with you." the little one suddenly became sensible and her little heart felt uneasy as she was afraid that her mummy would leave without her. Although she was early on whining to stay behind because she wanted to eat the big cake that her daddy had prepared for her, but her heart is still with her mummy and only wished to be with her.

XiaoHan was only starting to enjoy the intimacy between him and his daughter, when suddenly he felt the little one struggling to break free from his embrace.

Upon hearing that, YouYou's broken heart felt slightly better. "Mummy is not going back yet, mummy is..... going to the bathroom that's all." YouYou still dare not turn her head because her tears are rolling nonstop right then.

"Ms Tang, the bathroom is over there!" Uncle Yuan quickly and politely pointed to the direction of the bathroom for her. However YouYou refused to turn her head, so she quickly walked outside.

XiaoNai blinked her big eyes a few times, she turned her head to look at her big and tall daddy, then she turned her head again to look at the door that her mummy disappeared from.

"XiaoNai, your mummy has gone to the toilet, daddy play with you for awhile ok? What do you want to play?" XiaoHan quickly grabbed this opportunity, to spend more time with his daughter to bond with her.

"Daddy, can you go and find mummy and accompany her into the bathroom as she go pee please? I think she might get lost!" the innocent and naive little fella is still unaware of the bodily difference between male and female, she only felt at that moment that other people's daddy and mummy can do that, therefore her own daddy and mummy should be able to do that.

Uncle Yuan beside them, could not contain his laughter and started chuckling. XiaoHan's handsome face immediately turned beet red.

"Ehhhh.... Erm, XiaoNai, I'm afraid your mummy will whack me!" XiaoHan don't know whether to laugh or cry for having such an adorable daughter, that he felt like his life would not be so bored and bleak in future.

"Mummy is a good person, I guarantee you that she will not whack you, I saw her running out awhile ago, this place is huge so I'm worried that she will really get lost." XiaoNai's face was flushed red with worry, what if her mummy got lost and was unable to find the bathroom?

"Ok! I will lead her way, you play with Uncle Yuan and go draw something ok?" XiaoHan could not bear to reject his daughter's request. Even though the request was really ridiculous, but he..... quickly left to find YouYou. Of course, he would not head to the bathroom to look for her, after all this woman was not that much of a looker.

"Ok daddy! Hurry up and get going." XiaoNai happily shushed him along.

XiaoHan stood up and took big steps out of the living room's door. He quickly looked around to see where that YouYou might be at. However he did not see her anywhere and quickly wondered where that woman went to? Could she really have gone to the bathroom? Could she have relieved herself anywhere just because she could not find the bathroom? XiaoHan have no doubts that YouYou is not that uncivilised. Therefore he started walking out of the resort's big door and at some distance away, he saw her petite body. She stood here alone, with her dipped low  as she looked at the waves curling in to shore.

What is she doing?

XiaoHan wondered as he could not understand the strange behaviour this woman was showing. One moment she was still trying hard to take her daughter away from him, the next moment she actually stepped out of the resort, onto the beach to look at waves. She couldn't have been mesmerised by his vast estate all of a sudden right?

"What are you doing?"

YouYou who was pouring out her grievances and unhappiness, suddenly heard the man's bland voice sounding out from behind her and she froze. She is not able to clean the tears of her face now and she did not want this man to look at her pathetically, so in a moment of panic, she kicked off her shows and quickly ran towards the sea and drives head first into the sea.

"Have you gone mad?!" XiaoHan screamed after her as he was utterly shocked by her actions. He quickly ran towards the sea with the intention of retrieving her.
