Chapter 3 - A Pair Of Adorable Toddlers

YouYou was lost in thoughts as she looked down at her two adorable and precious children, she can't help but feel like she was in a dream.

Five years ago, when she discovered she was pregnant, she was adamant about aborting the pregnancy, however, as her blood type was the very rare rhesus negative blood, she was informed that if she abort her pregnancy now, she may never be able to have children again.

Fortunately, she decided to keep the pregnancy and gave birth to a pair of dragon and phoenix twins.

"Mummy, our luggages are out!" exclaimed her adorable children, at only four years old, they are still the at their most innocent and pure stage that everything is still a new experience and wonder to them.

One big and two small luggage's appeared before them on the conveyor belt, YouYou proceeded to lift the small luggages and gave them to her two children, each handling one.

"Let's go, we are going to grand aunt's place!" YouYou came back this time because of her career progression. A well known design company in China have found her fashion design concepts interesting and offered her a comparable remuneration package in a bid to bring her back.

While YouYou was overseas, she had already used up all her personal savings, as well as all the money that she had schemed out of her father, seeing that her children are still growing up and still reliant on her, she had no choice but to sacrifice her studies to return back to China and accept the job offer.

Prior to her return, she had already contacted and made arrangements with her  aunt. Her aunt's children have all left home for studies and work elsewhere, so she's always alone. Knowing that YouYou was coming back, she quickly offered to help her look after two rascals.

Everything seem to fall in place, YouYou was already getting tired of her life overseas, she missed her family at home dearly, additionally her two precious babies have grown older and more sensible, so she decided that it's time to return to her homeland.

The moment, three of them stepped off the plane onto the tarmac, all eyes were on the two exceptionally beautiful children as they continued to walk to the arrival hall.

"Such beautiful twins, they must have inherited great genes."

"Too adorable, they are so cute I wish I could hug them a little."

"Are they the kids of some celebrity? How are they as beautiful and so like dolls."

As YouYou listened to the whispers around her regarding her children, she can't help but also gazed at her two precious child. Indeed, her children seem to have inherited some great genes, they look identical yet at the same time they have such different personalities.

Her son is handsome and suave, her daughter is sweet and adorable, however the one common trait they have, is that they are so exceptionally beautiful that there are practically no flaws with their looks.

While they were overseas on the streets, they often get people who would approach them to chat them up, sometimes they even have talent scouts approaching who wants to have the twins appear in commercial ads.

YouYou touched her sunflower seed shaped face and always wondered why her own genes never showed up on her children at all. So it goes to show that they have totally inherited their father's genes instead.

The thought of their father, however gave her chills down her back. That man gave her eternal nightmares!

"Mummy, why are u looking so lost? Shouldn't we be calling for a cab now?" a pair of small hands prodded YouYou gently as her son's cool and calm voice called out to her.

YouYou immediately came out of her thoughts, stooped down and rearranged her son's collar, she then patted her daughter's head, "Remember what I've told you, later when you've reached grand aunt's place, you must remember to address her."

"Don't worry mummy, our little mouths will be sweet as honey!" XiaoRui chuckled like a little devil, what a devious little rascal.

YouYou hailed a cab, led her two children onto the car and they rolled out of the airport and speedily headed towards the city.
