Chapter 12 - Adorable Babies Off To School!

YouYou finished helping her son dress up for school and passed him a wet towel to wipe his little face.

As the towel wet his black fringe, she unconsciously swept his hair backwards and exposed his little forehead and was enthralled as she notice the semblance, she then went into the bathroom to get a comb and proceeded to comb all his hair backwards and an exquisite little face surfaced.

"This can't be...." way too alike.

That idiot of a guy from yesterday who decided to side XueRou had the same swept back hairstyle and right now her son with the same hairstyle looked absolutely like him, as though they were produced from the same mould.

"No...." YouYou held in one hand the comb and in the other the wet towel, was looking at her son in disbelieve while shaking her head.

XiaoRui woke up a little refreshed from the wet towel, looked up with his big black eyes and saw his mum looking bewildered and lost in thought and swiped his hand in front of her eyes, trying to get her attention back, "Mummy, why are looking so lost?"

YouYou snapped back into reality, felt a tingle down her spine but quickly hide her thoughts, she smiled at her son and replied, "Nothing, hurry and have your breakfast, I'm going to wake your little sis up."

YouYou was feeling very uneasy with her discovery, she attributed that to her tensioned nerves after what happened yesterday. She couldn't have had anything to do with that hateful and annoying man.

XiaoNai, compared to her brother is a little more spoilt and she is still sound asleep in bed right now. "NaiNai, time to wake up for breakfast. There's bread and milk!"

"Don't want....." XiaoNai replied with determination as she pouted a little.

"There's your favourite lollipop too.... Green Apple flavoured...."

"Donwan, donwan, mummy is so bad..... I want to sleep....."

XiaoNai got a little annoyed from being woken up, and looked like she was reedy to cry. YouYou smiled and sighed a little as she held up her little skirt and helped her dress up.

"My sweet babe, let's wake up already ok? Mama bring you out to play...." YouYou swept XiaoNai up as she noticed that time is running out and carried her out of the bedroom.

They came to the dining table where an energised XiaoRui was already drinking his milk and eating his porridge, he noticed that his mother was still carrying his little sister who is still trying to catch a wink and called out to her, "XiaoNai Tang, you are such a lazy worm....."

At that, XiaoNai got even more annoyed and undignified upon hearing that, so she kicked her two little legs in anger and protest.

"XiaoRui, it's better if you stop." YouYou pretended to get angry and stared at her son, willing him with her eyes to stop aggravating the situation. XiaoRui is most afraid of his mother's strict and stern eyes, the corner of his little mouth twitch a little as if to protest, but he decided to keep quiet and continued with his breakfast instead.

"NaiNai, please wake up already, mummy give you some milk to drink ok?" YouYou patiently coaxed her daughter, the little rascal have always been a little dependent on others, very unlike her independent and dependable older brother. However, YouYou felt that it's alright for girls to be a little reliant on others anyway.

XiaoNai has fully awoken, no thanks to her brother's annoyance, just as she yawned and opened her eyes to stare at her brother, YouYou quickly brought the cup of milk up to her mouth and she finally started having her breakfast.

It is definitely, a mother's wish to see her children being well taken care of and never need to starve. Under the care of YouYou, her two children have never known hunger.
