Chapter 55 - Thinking Of Calling Daddy

XiaoRui may not be as impulsive as his sister to have acknowledged daddy so quickly, however in his heart, he also wished that they could have daddy with them. After all, this was every child's greatest wish, to have a complete family with a mummy and a daddy.

"Nooooo, mummy, I don't want to go back to our previous home, I want to go to daddy's home. Daddy's home is s big and beautiful and there are so many things to play with, so much good food to eat.... Mummy, can we go back to daddy's place please?" XiaoNai innocently asked.

YouYou sighed a little, she did not expect her daughter to have so quickly bonded with XiaoHan to the point of reliance.

"Mummy, I beg you, please....." XiaoNai's begged YouYou with pair of crystal clear puppy eyes.

YouYou almost gave in. She knew she really owed her children too much and her greatest regret was not being to give her children a complete family. However this situation was not what she had wanted too, nor was it created by her. She too felt greatly aggrieved.

"XiaoNai, listen to mummy, if you were to choose between daddy an mummy, who would you choose to live with?" YouYou really did not want her children to make such difficult choice this young, however she really have no choice but to make them decide that today. If she wanted to still her children's happy and carefree laughter, then she had to harden her heart to force her children to decide.

XiaoNai have not count on her mummy to ask such a difficult question, a pair of lost and confused eyes looked at YouYou, she then turned and look at her brother who had been silent beside them, she then gently pushed XiaoRui's arms and asked, "Brother, you choose first!"

YouYou also turned to look at her son, she have absolute faith that her son would choose to be with her.

"Mummy, if I get daddy to marry you as his wife, will you agree to stay?" XiaoRui was not saying anything because he was deep in thoughts.

YouYou blew her mind hearing what her son said, she then stared at her beyond-matured son with disbelieve.

XiaoNai whooped with joy, "Yay, daddy is going to marry mummy. Oh yeah! Next time brother and I will have daddy and mummy together already! So happy!"

YouYou placed her palm on her forehead, shocked speechless, did she just get pranked by her two children?

"XiaoRui, your daddy will never marry someone like me, don't be so naive. Mummy and him is from two completely different worlds." YouYou replied with all seriousness.

WanLian who just stepped out of the bathroom and overheard what YouYou just said, sighed and shook her head, what a tragedy. The children are still so young, to be denied of a complete home is just so sad.

"He will marry you for sure, he has promised me!" XiaoRui said with absolute certainty beaming with utmost confidence.

"XiaoRui, you are still so young, I won't be surprised if he had told a lie just to please you. Mummy is not some beauty pageant queen, your daddy is obviously a picky fella, so his expectations would be very high for a man like him. He will definitely marry some wealthy family's missus in future instead." YouYou have ran out of proper words to use as she really did not know how to better explain to her children the affairs of adults. It wasn't as simple as they they thought.

"Daddy will never lie, he is a righteous man and righteous man never tell lies. Mummy, how about....."

"No!" YouYou was very adamant and was so forceful that she gave her children a fright. YouYou grabbed her hair in frustration and stood up to quickly walk towards her bedroom. The two little fellas looked at each other, confused by their mummy's outburst.

WanLian followed YouYou into her bedroom and saw her sitting on her bed, sorting through the things she brought back home, she opened her mouth and asked, "Looks like you got the things back? The Tang family didn't gave you any trouble right?"

"Yup, finally got it back!" YouYou's could feel her eyes burning as she replied quietly.

"YouYou....."

"Aunt, did you want to try and convince me to stay too?" YouYou raised her head to look at her the only person who is her family and whom she could trust, the tears threatening to spill from her eyes.

WanLian shook her head, "No, I don't intend to persuade you, do whatever feels right for you, the children are yours and even if they are too young now to understand your intentions, they will eventually grow up and come to understand your efforts."

"Really? I am afraid that they will blame me for taking them away and preventing them from living with XiaoHan. They should have been living like prince and princess, but with me, they will have to suffer hardship along with me...." YouYou actually knew very well, however the moment she thought that she would lose her children, she had no choice but to be selfish.

WanLian suddenly did not know what else she could say to console her, this was definitely a delicate matter that must be approached with great care. Just as the two adults entered the bedroom to have a talk, the two little fella also ran into their little bedroom to discuss on the matter too. XiaoRui tucked his two arms behind him, seemingly deep in thoughts as he paced around the room. XiaoNai hugged her little doll and looked at her brother pacing away.

After seeing his brother pacing around for the second time, she called out to her brother, "Brother, how now? Mummy is denying us from seeing daddy anymore, but I still want to see daddy and play with him, he also treat me so well."

"You silly goose, didn't mummy also treat you well?" XiaoRui stared at XiaoNai furiously.

XiaoNai pouted her little moth, her little, her little head nodded furiously, like a little chick pecking at the grains on the ground and added, "Mmhmm, mummy of course treated me well, however if mummy and daddy can both treat me well together, then I will be most happy."

"You are so greedy despite being so young, can't imagine how much worse you'll get when you grow older." XiaoRui reprimanded her like a little adult.

XiaoNai immediately looked aggrieved and dipped her head as she pitifully replied, "Brother, don't you miss daddy too? Didn't you say before last time, if we found daddy, you will want daddy to play Soccer with you, to play toys with you? Now that we have finally found daddy, you also didn't like him? You are so bad!"

"Who said I didn't like him? Didn't you saw how much mummy hated him? didn't we vowed that if mummy don't like someone, we shall dislike them too?" XiaoRui fumingly said.

"Sigh, why did mummy dislike daddy? Daddy is so handsome, so rich and is so loving towards us, mummy should have liked him too." XiaoNai said with all the naïveté of children.

XiaoRui's little mind suddenly lit up like a light bulb, he immediately thought of an idea. "Let's give daddy a call shall we?" XiaoRui suddenly said.

XiaoNai nod her head real hard and happily said, "Great idea! I want to listen to daddy's voice. But...... what is daddy's phone number? I don't think we have it."

"Today I asked Uncle Qing for it! I have memorised it in my mind." XiaoRui may be young however he has a superb memory that allows him to easily remember anything he wants to, this ability came in handy right now.

"I will go and fetch mummy's phone now!" XiaoNai turned around and quickly ran out of the room on her two short legs. In a short while, she held YouYou's mobile phone back into the room in her little hands, unlocked the phone with ease and they started to make a phone call.
