Chapter 50 - Young Master Ji Has Taken A Liking to You

YouYou's turned a beetroot red and was fuming mad, she was definitely embarrassed to tell what happened. She was knocked unconscious by her stepmother and was sent to the hotel, her innocence was even forcefully taken by a bastard. She will never in her life tell anyone that disgraceful incident that happened to her, over her dead body!

XueRou was deliberately fanning the fire and that made XuanChen even more curious of what happened to YouYou five years ago.

"Brother XuanChen, I beg you, please don't ask anymore what happened back then and let's just enjoy our dinner." YouYou still wish to leave him with a good impression and memories, so she refused to talk about the incident any further.

XueRou chortled icily, she then replied, "She had been dabbling with another man, XuanChen, I suggest you to quickly let go and forget about her."

"What?!" XuanChen has though of the millions of possibilities and reasons for YouYou's sudden departure, however he had never entertained the thought that she was with another man.

YouYou was beyond furious now and without thinking at all, she picked up her glass of water and immediately splashed it over XueRou, "You and your wretched cheap mouth, I warn you, next time if you dare to talk any rubbish about me, I will not hesitate to take you to task."

XueRou totally did not expect YouYou's temper to be this furious that she dared to even splash water in her face, she look so wretched now that she was drenched from head to toe.

"XueRou......" XuanChen was momentarily stupefied, he then immediately grabbed a napkin and handed it over to her then he turned back to YouYou and said, "YouYou, why have you not learned to tone yourself down at all?"

YouYou saw how caring and concerned XuanChen was towards XueRou and her whole heart felt like she has been cut by a dagger a million times.

XueRou immediately displayed an aggrieved expression and looked demurely at XuanChen, "XuanChen, it's my fault, don't have to blame her, I was a little too straightforward with my words earlier, I am fine no worries!"

XuanChen furrowed his eyebrows and looked a little angry, "YouYou, why did you pour water at XueRou? What she said, as it true? Are you really with another man....."

"Brother XuanChen, I'm glad to be able to meet you today, however I'm done here. I'll take my leave now!" YouYou picked up her handbag resentfully and was ready to leave. Unexpectedly, as she stood up and was about to leave, a man in full suit walked towards her. She recognised immediately that that man was XiaoHan's PA, Qing.

"This lady over there, please stay, my young master would like to invite you upstairs for a drink and hope that you would graciously accept." Qing asked politely and formally with a smile.

XueRou definitely knew who Qing was and upon hearing his invitation, XueRou's face turned white as a sheet of paper.

"My apologies, but I'm not in the mood!" YouYou icily rejected the invitation.

"My lady, I shall be honest with you, my young master have taken a liking to you and insist that you must go up to meet him." Qing somehow knew that YouYou would reject him, so he was very upfront to share what his young master said exactly to her.

"Taken a liking to me? What does he like about me?" YouYou laughed in disbelieve, there must be something wrong with that XiaoHan, why did he even appear out of the blue here?

"If my lady would like to find out for herself, then why not just head upstairs and listen to what my young master has to say." Qing smiled ever more sincerely as he replied.

XueRou quickly stood up from where she was seated, ignoring her discomfort from being drenched and smiled as she stepped over to Qing, "Hi PA Lu, such a coincidence, Mr Ji is upstairs? I shall go and say hi to him....."

"My apologies, Ms Tang, my young master don't wish to see you at the moment." Qing dropped his smile as he firmly replied.

"Oh....." XueRou displayed a look for disbelieve, "PA Lu, would you have a closer look at me? I am XueRou Tang, why would your young master refuse to see me?"

YouYou noticed how eager XueRou was to want to meet XiaoHan, a scheme formed immediately in her mind, she then told Qing, "Since you said your young master has taken a liking to me right? Then I guess I should go with you to meet him and find out what's it all about then."

"This way please!" Qing happily guided her away.

XueRou froze right there when she heard that YouYou wants to meet XiaoHan. This won't do, she must not allow YouYou and XiaoHan to meet, what if they recognised each other? Then she would be immediately abandoned by XiaoHan!

"YouYou Tang, stop right there!" XueRou shouted, she then quickly stepped in front of her and said, "Didn't you said you wanted to retrieve your mother's belongings? Come with me right now to get them."

YouYou was taken aback by what she said.

"If you don't come wth me now, then you shall never get them back in your lifetime." XueRou said brusquely as she was obviously panicking.

YouYou bit her lips and icily replied, "Ok, I will go with you, this time though, you better not lie to me!"

"Of course not, let's go!" XueRou reached her hands out to grab YouYou's arms and was determined to steer her away from meeting XiaoHan.

Qing had not expected YouYou to not meet his young master because she wanted to retrieve some things, he started to panic. "Young lady, my young master is still upstairs waiting for you."

"Then let him wait, he really thought he was some big shot?" YouYou replied angrily.

When XueRou heard YouYou's rude reply, the corner of her lips curved up slightly. YouYou.... Someday you will come to regret all the good things you have missed just because of that brutish temper of yours. If XiaoHan heard what she said, he will surely not want to meet her every again in this lifetime.

Qing shrugged his shoulder helplessly, seems like YouYou is the only person in this entire world that don't give a damn about his young master.

XuanChen who was utterly confused, looked at Qing walking away and disappearing up the stairwell, and then he turned to look at XueRou dragging YouYou out the door in the opposite direction and realised that XueRou had left so abruptly that she had forgotten her clutch, so he grabbed it and gave chase.

YouYou's arm was so grabbed so tightly by XueRou that she started feeling sore, she angrily shook XueRou off. XueRou's gaze was dripping with hate and poison as she was trying to calm herself down, she locked her jaws tight and hurried after YouYou to ensure that she would not suddenly decide to go back to meet XiaoHan instead.

When they reached the ground floor lobby, suddenly XueRou was swarmed by her fans, they were very excited and elated to see her and wanted to take photos with her as well as to get her autograph. XueRou was shocked by the sudden swarm of fans surrounding her and realised that she had left her hat and sunglasses in her clutch that she had forgotten to take with her when she left the restaurant in a hurry.

XueRou saw many people whipping out their mobile phones too take a photo of her, so she instinctively grabbed YouYou and took this opportunity to address her fans, "Everyone, could you please stop taking photos already? Even though I'm a celebrity I am a human being too. I am here today with my sister to have a meal, if you don't mind, let us pass please."

XueRou's gentle and angelic voice made her even more like the perfect goddess in the eyes of her fans, her every move was full of the grace of a celebrity. YouYou totally did not expect XueRou to actually use her to put on an act in front of everyone and she felt totally disgusted by it.
