Chapter 68 - Conditions

He pushed aside the little fell's little leg and laid down to rest.

Next morning, YouYou woke up early and when she opened her eyes, she noticed that her daughter was already awake and not beside her. She wondered when had her daughter woken up. YouYou got up and went to the bathroom to wash up, she changed her clothes and went downstairs to find her children playing and laughing happily from the grassy backyard just outside the front door.

YouYou knitted her eyebrows and walked out of the living room where she saw XiaoHan, in his track pants and sports t-shirt, kicking a ball around the yard with his son, while their daughter just ran around beside them, squealing with glee. YouYou sighed with satisfaction at the sight and leaned against the door frame, unknowingly being drawn into the scene in her eyes. Needless to say, she was drawn to her two children's happy little faces and couldn't be bothered about that tall hunky man beside the both them at all.

Uncle Yuan have already ordered the kitchen to prepare for them a sumptuous breakfast and when he saw YouYou standing at the doorway, looking at them, he smiled and said, "Ms Tang, I believe young master and little young master will still be playing for awhile, if you are hungry, breakfast is already available."

YouYou knew that Uncle Yuan is a very affable and polite person, so even if she wanted to put on a mask and look haughty towards him, she knew she wouldn't be able to do it. So she politely replied, "Thank you, I am not hungry yet, I will wait for the kids for a little while more."

Uncle Yuan looked out of the doorway and sighed contentedly, "I have been with young master for over a decade and I've never seen him smile this happily before. Little young master and little missy are really the most precious gifts that god had given to young master, I am also very thankful for Ms Tang's hard work in bringing them up."

YouYou smile lightly and replied, "Uncle Yuan, you are too polite, I chose to live here only because I regarded him as my children's father and for the sake of my children."

"I know, for you to allow young master to be with his children, is already a great sacrifice on your part, as such, in future if you need any help for anything, please feel free to ask me."

YouYou was taken aback a little, so she could only smile as she replied, "Ok, thank you very much for offering, Uncle Yuan."

The two little fella was perspiring buckets after running around for awhile, so was XiaoHan. At this moment, with beads of sweat dripping off his black and short hair, he didn't look any bit like that cold and mighty usual self. In fact, it made him look young and wild like he should be for his age. YouYou suddenly realised that XiaoHan was actually not that much older than she is, even though status wise, he was really way beyond where she is. At this moment, after playing with his kids for awhile, he was beginning to look very much like a big boy who was just having fun. XiaoHan already noticed YouYou standing at the doorway looking at them for awhile, so he was also giving his all as he kicked the ball around with his son. Sadly, his efforts had gone unnoticed.

"Come on you all, wipe off your sweat and let's go eat breakfast." YouYou already got Uncle Yuan to prepare face towels for them beforehand when she noticed that they have started walking back to the house. The two little faces was flushed red from all that effort of running around, only made them look ever more child-like. YouYou gently wiped the sweat from her daughter's brow, then she turned to help her son, when she's done, XiaoNai suddenly asked, "Mummy, you haven't helped daddy to wipe his sweat, daddy have also sweat a lot too."

XiaoHan heard what his daughter said and his eyes momentarily lit up. However, he clearly didn't receive the same treatment as his kids when a face towel went flying into his chest. The woman only blandly said, "Help yourself."

What else could XiaoHan say, he simply felt that this woman really have no idea how to be gentle, he wondered with her kind of attitude, how is she ever going to attract men. Actually, XiaoHan was overthinking on his part, because it wasn't that YouYou was not gentle, just that she refuse to be gentle towards him was all. YouYou grabbed the hands on her two children, one on each side of her and walked with them to the dining room, behind her, XiaoHan was eyeing her with all sorts of grievances as he frustratingly wiped the sweat off his forehead.

"Young master, after breakfast, we can head off to school to have a look, I have already informed the school principal with regards to your visit and he will be there at around 9 to receive you." Uncle Yuan briefly informed him as he walked towards him.

"Mm." XiaoHan lazily replied, as he walked to the dining table and sat down, he then said to YouYou, "I have already arranged for the kids to go to another school, so after breakfast, let's go visit the school together." YouYou was surprised by what she heard, she didn't expect the man to have already made arrangements for here children's school this quickly.

"Why don't you go ahead and bring the kids with you, it doesn't really matter if I went or not right?" YouYou pondered as she replied.

XiaoHan furrowed his eyebrows, a little displeased, "Why not? Don't you want to go and see for yourself the environment that our children will be attending school in?"

"The school you've arranged for them, I believe shouldn't be any less prestigious." YouYou sarcastically responded.

XiaoHan proudly replied, "Of course, I will only give them the best, however, don't forget that you are their mother, so anything related to them, you must continue to be involved anyway."

YouYou gently released her breath that she had been holding, actually earlier on at 6ish, she already woke up briefly and wasn't able to fall back asleep, so she calmly thought over some things as she laid in bed. Right now, since XiaoHan brought up this topic, YouYou decided to also share her thoughts on the matter with him.

"XiaoHan, I have a few conditions that I hope you can accept, so that we can live peacfully together." YouYou looked in all seriousness at him as she said.

"A few conditions? What makes you think i will accept them." XiaoHan replied as he elegantly drank his coffee.

XiaoRui harrumphed lightly from the side, that one sound almost made XiaoHan spill his cup of coffee in his hand as he jumped a little. XiaoHan then remembered that he forgotten all about his son's presence. "Alright, shoot and I will listen to what you have to say." XiaoHan immediately changed his attitude. Sigh, since when did he, the cold and mighty young master of the Ji family, ever needed to consider another person's feelings to get things done, right now, he realised that he will have to learn to get used to being more considerate whenever he is around his kids.

YouYou didn't realise that that light harrumph coming from her son, was the reason for XiaoHan's change in attitude and belated thought that he might have choked on something, so she reached out to her son and gently pat his back as she said with concern, "Slow down son, don't eat so fast or you'll choke."

XiaoHan looked at that woman's gentle concern towards his son even though it was a tiny cough and realised that his son is such a lovely angelic and sunny in front of her, however he had to turn into a hideous, cunning little devil in front of him, he could not help but wonder why the difference in his attitude towards him when they are both his parents.

"Mummy, I thought you wanted to discuss with daddy your conditions, hurry up and state the out, I believe daddy ill accept whatever you say." XiaoRui immediately smiled at YouYou encouragingly.

YouYou then remembered that she haven't state her conditions, so she looked at XiaoHan once again with all seriousness and said, "Number 1, I don't wish for anyone else to know that you are their father."

"What?" XiaoHan was immediately displeased upon hearing the first condition. Why should he hide the facts from anyone, he was clearly their father and the DNA report has even also confirmed so.
