Chater 51 - Finally Getting Her Mother's Belonging

As if right on cue, XuanChen as the talent manager, saw XueRou surrounded by her fans, quickly got to her and handed her her clutch, then he immediately stepped forth to manage the crowd.

"Wow, is this the man supporting XueRou? That deliciously good looking talent manager? He is really handsome!"

Actually, when XueRou became popular, XuanChen who have been her talent manager have also been thrown into the limelight several times. XuanChen is not only tall and handsome, but having been seen around XueRou at several events had garnered him his own little circle of fans in the process.

At this moment, those fan girls of his who saw him quickly became more excited than ever. XuanChen have never dreamt of becoming a celebrity as he found it a hassle to be chased after by fans day in day out.

"Owww..." Suddenly amongst the crowd was the female voice shouting out in pain. When XueRou was walking hurriedly away, she deliberately used stepped onto YouYou's foot with her high heel shoes and caused her to gasp in pain. XuanChen heard and recognised the voice to be YouYou and hurried over to her side with concern and asked, "YouYou, you ok?"

YouYou was angry but she dare not speak out, if not for sake of getting back her mother's belongings, she would have torn off that hypocrite mask on XueRou's face in front of everyone. So, before she got back her mother's belongings, YouYou will tolerate everything and choose not to offend XueRou.

XueRou then acted with concerned and asked , "YouYou, are you fine? There's too many people around, did someone step you? Sigh, I got stepped on too, well it can't be helped, the fans are too excited right now, so hope you understand!"

Despite the messy situation, XueRou did not forget to upkeep and display her positive front to the masses. Someone beside them immediately praised, "XueRou's voice is so soothing and gentle, so pleasing on the ears!"

"She's prettier in real life than on TV, she's so slim and her skin is so fair!"

XueRou was beaming and grinning from ear to ear with every single praise heaped upon her by her fans.

YouYou was being helped out of the building by XuanChen, earlier on, XueRou stomped really hard on her feet, moreover it was the heels that landed on her toe, she could feel her toe swollen and as if it was broken, the pain literally made her eyes watered with tears. If XuanChen had not helped her out, she would have found walking on her own very difficult.

Just as the lobby was a flurry of activities, the VIP lift door at the side opened. Six burly sized bodyguards stepped out of the lift and formed a path with their muscular and well built body. Then out came a tall and dignified person, casually strolling unhindered despite the hustle happening right beside the lift. His sudden appearance had the effect of shocking everyone in the lobby into silence.

"My god, such a perfectly handsome man exists in this world?"

"Who is he? Not only is he handsome, he has such a perfect body too!"

XiaoHan's eyes was icy cold, however as he glanced over, he saw YouYou half leaning into XuanChen's embrace. His pair of eyes that were sharp as a knife, stared at the hands that were entwined together and his face darkened like the skies that have gone dark in anticipation of a heavy thunderstorm.

XiaoHan's appearance had also momentarily killed the buzz created around XueRou's status as the queen of the entertainment industry as if her existence meant nothing.

"XueRou, let's get going!" XuanChen grabbed the opportunity and quickly ushered the two of them out of the lobby onwards the car.

XueRou was not willing to leave only because she was also fawning over XiaoHan that have already boarded his car. She didn't expect XiaoHan to completely ignore her like she didn't even existed, how did that happen? She saw XiaoHan looking towards the direction she was at, however his eyes were clearly looking at YouYou instead.Could it really be that XiaoHan have really taken a liking to YouYou when they were having dinner earlier?

A wave of jealousy rose from within her like water gushing forth from a tap, XueRou glanced over and stared with poisoned hate at YouYou, whose face had turned white from the pain she was enduring. Despite her face was twisted with pain, she still looked naturally gorgeous and that was what made XueRou green with envy. YouYou was the type of beauty that was clean and fresh like a crystal clear river flowing through a beautiful forest, her pretty eyes always looked innocent.

"XueRou, get in the car quickly!" XuanChen who was sweating profusely, hurriedly called out.

"XuanChen, I am going back with YouYou to the Tang mansion, you can leave first!" XueRou the walked over to the driver side of the car. YouYou coldly said, "I will take brother XuanChen's car over, you can leave on your own."

XueRou was only willing to drive YouYou back, because she can then keep an eye on her so that she would not have the opportunity to meet XiaoHan. Even though her actions seems childish, she can't be bothered right now when there are more important things at stake. The thought of YouYou and XiaoHan meeting, had her every cell going into overdrive with panic. This will not do, she must drive YouYou out of this country and never let her step foot back here ever again. She could avert a disaster today but she cannot guarantee the same in future.

YouYou insisted on taking XuanChen's car and left, she really hated XueRou to the core.

XueRou could not focus on driving her car, her eyes kept wandering to the rear view mirror to keep a lookout for XuanChen's car, her heart was filled with fear and trepidation that was wearing her nerves down. Just as they were reaching the Tang mansion, XueRou who had lost focus, crashed into the fencing next to the garden.

"Ahhh!!" XueRou screamed, her two hands were gripping onto the steering wheel tightly then she realised that she had broke out in cold sweat from being overly nervous.

XuanChen hurried over to her car to check her out, and was very concerned if she have been injured. XueRou opened the car door to step out and immediately froze when she saw YouYou stepped out of the car at the same time as she did.

"Come with me now!" XueRou walked briskly.

YouYou wrinkled her forehead and hurried along as they entered the mansion's huge entrance.

"Where's my father?" YouYou have not met her father for a long time, and because of her hatred towards XueRou and her mother, she had not came back to the Tang mansion to visit her father since.

"He has gone overseas with my mother for holiday, it was fully arranged by me too, I am father's greatest pride now by the way." XueRou replied proudly, looking very smug.

"Is that so?" YouYou could not help but sarcastically added, "Moreover, you were once father's darkest secret, an illegitimate daughter."

"YouYou Tang, my mother is now married to father, I am no longer illegitimate." XueRou retorted in a low and threatening voice.

"Once were!" YouYou smiled mirthlessly as she replied.

XueRou threw her clutch onto the sofa, then made a turn and ran up the staircase to the second floor.

YouYou looked at the house that she was once so familiar with and noticed that everything has changed, it was no longer the old furnitures she used to know, it was lavishly and luxuriously decorated everywhere she looked. YouYou suddenly felt a pang of sharp pain and sorrow rising to her throat. Ever since her mother passed away, she had not been living in this mansion and had been staying with her grandmother. She had lost her home since then!

XueRou's frantic footsteps rang through the hall as she descended from the second floor. In her hands was a bag full of things that she threw them onto the floor in front of YouYou, "Here, take these unlucky stuff away from here, as far away as possible, better to not have them around else bad luck will follow."
