Chapter 40 - Daddy Is So Handsome

YouYou felt colours draining from her face, when she quickly moved towards her daughter, Uncle Yuan have already lifted XiaoNai up. XiaoNai's beautiful little face was covered by tiny grains of sand. Fortunately, she was smart and quick enough to keep her eyes close as she tripped, so sand did not enter her eyes.

"Wuuuuuuu, Mummy..... My face is full of sand!" XiaoNai kept her eyes shut tightly as she started crying. YouYou was about to grab some tissue from her bag out to help XiaoNai clean her face when Uncle Yuan, who was already white as a sheet of ghost, said, "Ms Tang, let's hurry and bring Miss XiaoNai to wash her face."

XiaoHan has reached their side, he stooped down and his heart sank when he saw his daughter crying inconsolably. He reached his hand out, wanting to help clean her face, but was deliberately slapped away by YouYou, XiaoHan immediately stared at her with eyes burning with anger.

YouYou couldn't be bothered with him, she carried her daughter and followed Uncle Yuan to the beach side resort. She started coaxing her as she walked, "XiaoNai, don't open your eyes now alright, just keep the shut, or else the sand will enter your eyes and hurt you."

"Mmhmm. Mummy, where's daddy?" XiaoNai may not have called out to her daddy, but she saw the man who was running towards her and she felt a great sense of happiness as she finally found her daddy.

"XiaoNai, daddy is here, don't be afraid, later we will get you washed up." XiaoHan quietly replied as he followed alongside.

"Daddy, don't leave mummy and us anymore ok?" XiaoNai's innocent little soul have always hoped that one day her daddy and mummy will reunite, and today, her little dream has been fulfilled and so she hope with all her little heart that they would continue to be together.

XiaoHan was stooped, he took a sidelong glance at YouYou with his deep and mysterious eyes and saw only her worried face. YouYou refused to look at him.

"Ok, daddy promise you, I will never part with you all anymore, daddy will also take good care of you all." XiaoHan looked at his daughter's sand crusted face and suddenly felt bad as he didn't do his part to be a better father. He should have had some sense of danger, yet he had let his sweet daughter suffered a fright.

When they reach the resort, YouYou, with the help of Uncle Yuan, washed her daughter's little face clean with water. Although her face has been washed clean, it was marred by tiny little cuts here and there, it was not bleeding, but it was a little inflamed.

Uncle Yuan who was wrought with guilt, he pled, "Young Master, I deserve death, I didn't take better care of Miss XiaoNai, please punish me, I will be more careful next time and not let Miss XiaoNai come to harm anymore."

XiaoHan may be feeling heartache for his daughter, however, Uncle Yuan had been looking after him for so many years and is almost like his father, moreover, he did not deliberately neglected his daughter, therefore he could not bear to berate him for what happened. "Uncle Yuan, Ii'm not going to blame you, so stop feeling guilty already, just be more careful next time." XiaoHan plainly consoled Uncle Yuan.

He then saw YouYou walked away while carrying their daughter. XiaoHan hurried over to her, and saw the little cuts that appeared out of place on his daughter's perfect little face, he felt guilty and immediately berated himself for not being more careful.

"Mummy, daddy is so handsome!" Young as she was, she is already able to differentiate between beauty and ugly. XiaoNai exclaimed shyly beside YouYou's ears.

"Handsome my foot, he's not even half as handsome as your brother please." YouYou have been looking at two perfectly beautiful little faces since they were born, so when facing a big shot like XiaoHan whose most handsome looks can bring anyone to their knees, she was long immune to it.

So what if he's perfectly handsome? Will he stop contending for the children's custody if she acknowledge his beauty?

XiaoHan noticed that he did not enjoy listening to this woman's words at all.

Matter of fact is that he is a rare and perfect specimen, however this woman just don't seem to have eyes for it nor did she ever look at him seriously. Well, she must be blind then.

"Brother is a mini heart throb, daddy is a major heart throb, hee hee!" XiaoNai giggled happily.

"XiaoNai, go call your brother, we are going home. Grand aunt has made your favourite dishes for dinner tonight!" YouYou patiently and gently coaxed her daughter.

XiaoHan interjected and quickly turned to Uncle Yuan to make a request, "Uncle Yuan, tonight I want to celebrate, please get the kitchen to cook some sumptuous food now."

YouYou was shocked as she stared angrily at him. Is this man deliberately trying to go against her wishes?
