Chapter 24 - Compensating Her With Money

YouYou's briefly relaxed nerves, suddenly exploded, she looked as if she had seen a ghost as she looked fearfully at the man in front of her.

"Sure?" the man's voice was briefly coloured with some excitement as he asked for affirmation.

"Send the report to me immediately!" XiaoHan ended his call immediately after, while he was still staring at her overbearingly.

YouYou sucked in a breath of ice cold air and looked at the man, like a predator taking one step at a time towards her, the feeling of danger and oppression made her feel fleeing.

"Did you hear what I've just said?" XiaoHan hid his excitement and trained his face to be the same icy coldness as he spoke to YouYou. YouYou immediately cupped her ears with her hands and shook her head refusing to believe what she heard, "No.... I didn't hear anything."

"Then I shall repeat this for you, the children's DNA results are out and they matched mine, thus listing me as their father." when XiaoHan said the word father, he could no longer hide the excitement and joy from his voice.

YouYou looked as if she was struck by lightning, her brain was completely empty of thought from the shock.

What the heck is he talking about?

How could the children be his?

Could it be..... Was he that bastard five years ago who stole her first time and destroyed her life?

"Tell me, when did this happen? I didn't recall ever having slept with someone as plain as you...." XiaoHan have yet to recover from his excitement and continued to interrogate YouYou. At this moment, YouYou looked as if her world was torn asunder, she could not calm herself down.

No..... Why is god so cruel to me?

How could he be the children's father?

The internet have been buzzing about how XueRou's backing was him, how he was her boyfriend and yet she was the one to give birth to this bastard's children. This is totally unreal.

XiaoHan realised that the woman who had been defying and bickering with him earlier was now reduced to a very sorry state, her face was ashen, eyes staring off into the distance as if she had lost her soul, her weakness made him feel sorry for her. What the heck? His hand was only bitten by her until blood was drawn the night before and now he is feeling sorry for her?

"Don't act dead in front of me, explain, when and how you manage to steal my seeds...." XiaoHan scooped her up in one fell swoop as if she was a rag doll, her petite and slim body towered by his huge and tall build created such a contrast, as if she was ready to be drowned by a tsunami wave.

"No.... It couldn't have been you, you must by lying to me, I can't be you....."  YouYou chanted in disbelief, her voice getting louder as she goes, until finally she shouted, "Absolutely impossible to be you!"

"What you mean by it couldn't have been me? From the looks of it, we seem to have slept together before then?" XiaoHan's eyebrows furrowed into a straight line, no matter how he recall, the only woman he slept with five years ago was XueRou.

YouYou covered her face with her hands and wailed, all these years she had been thinking about how she would scold the hell out of bastard and execute revenge on him if she ever met him. However at this moment, the truth has been revealed and all she could feel was sadness and grief as she realised that the man could easily crush her like an ant if he chose to.

XiaoHan hated women that cried. Especially those that wailed the loudest.

YouYou's world have completely collapsed from within, these five years, the disdainful looks, the ridicule and the grievances that she has silently endured have all became her tears now and flowed out of her as if a plug has been pulled from a bath tub.

XiaoHan's face scrunched up in disgust, the hand that scooped her up released her and she slumped to the floor like a rag doll where she continued to pour out the injustice and grievances dealt to her.

"The children are mine, you should be happy, because immediately, you will be awarded with one billion dollars for bringing them into this world and for taking care of them until now!" XiaoHan is also fighting to calm himself down, however the sight of this woman wailing like a ghost in front of him greatly disgusted him that he could only think of using money to shut her up.

He fished out his chequebook and pen and wrote clearly and steadily on it the price of one billion dollars and affixed his signature. He tore out the cheque from the chequebook and handed it out to her, "Take it, this is what you deserved."
