Chapter 29 - Will You Marry Mummy?

XiaoNai might be naive, however when she heard that the man who claims to be their daddy have already a girlfriend, she immediately voiced her displeasure, "How could daddy have a girlfriend? You are supposed to marry our mummy."

Marry?

XiaoHan was completely stunned by that word alone. They want him to marry that good-for-nothing woman who is also fighting with him over the children's custody as his wife? This is absolutely impossible.

"XiaoRui, I think this must have been a mistake. XueRou is just a celebrity that my entertainment branch of the company contracted with, she is not my girlfriend." XiaoHan have never been this serious in explaining to anyone about his scandal before.

XiaoNai followed up with, "But, I read so many scandal about you and her, rumour says that you are her back end monetary supporter, how do you explain this then?"

XiaoHan could feel a headache coming upon him, he has never in his life since young ever need to deal with such a situation that he furrowed his eyebrows slightly. He was considering if he should switch to being a strict father and reprimand this little fella a little.

"Brother, look, he don't even bother to explain anymore, let's go." XiaoNai may be delicate at times, however most of the time, she will look up to her brother and follow his lead. XiaoRui pursed his lips thoughtfully and then said, "Even if you are our daddy, we will also not acknowledge and accept you, because you will eventually marry some other woman, we only want our mummy and not some stepmother."

XiaoRui ran on his short legs towards his sister, the moment he said his peace, his voice made a 180 degree turn and said to his sister, "Let's go! Silly XiaoNai."

"Wait a second....." XiaoHan have never thought that in all his years of navigating the turbulent business world where he had always succeeded in whatever he did, he is now losing this battle against the two little fella, he looked on as the two children's back faced him and continued to walk towards the main entrance, he quickly called out to them. The two little fellas hand in hand stopped walking and turned their heads back towards him to see what else he has to say.

"I will make sure to settle any scandals surround me and her. Will this do?" XiaoHan have long ignored all the rumours an baseless speculations and have never taken them to heard. However at this moment, he was beginning to regret that he had not nipped the scandals in the bud earlier on.

"Then.... Will you marry our mummy?" XiaoRui's beautiful eyes flashed slyly for a moment. Despite his age, his cunningness does not pale in comparison to any adults. His intentions was very straightforward in that he wants to help their mummy finally settle down with a man who can care for her and them for the rest of their lives. Since the man in front of them who looked completely alike, had generously acknowledged that he is their daddy, then it can't be wrong. For someone with so much wealth, status and reputation, he would never joke about his genealogy.

However, XiaoRui was also worried that he only want to have him and his sister and not their mummy, then that would be terrible. So earlier on when he was acting all high and mighty, it was to force his daddy to clean up his personal affairs with any other woman and to position his mummy to be the only woman his daddy should have if he ever want his children to acknowledge him.

XiaoHan understood immediately the intention behind his own son's actions, after all they are bonded specially that way. He can't help but admire XiaoRui for his witty cunning to actually forced him to this point.

"XiaoRui, XiaoNai, listen to your daddy, the relationship between adults can be rather complicated, it isn't so simple to decide if we could and should get married just because you say so, after all, we don't have feelings for each other....."

"Will you love our mummy? Our mummy is super pretty, gentle and very capabilities." XiaoNai asked hopefully as she looked at him with her doe-like eyes that is impossible to reject.

XiaoHan looked at his daughter's crystal clear eyes and could only feel like he want to right all wrongs for her. After all, he had let his own children roam the world out there, was she ever bullied by anyone? Did she suffered?
