Chapter 47 - Do Not Wish To Be Apart For Even One Second

YouYou heard XiaoRui's doubts and quickly chimed in, "That's right, it's so dangerous, so it's better for you children to meet him lesser in future."

XiaoHan have not even managed to explain to his son why and upon hearing the rubbish that spouted out of that woman's mouth, his became agitated, "I have bodyguards, not because I will encounter danger anytime, however this is to ensure I have added security when I am travelling out, my dear son, do you understand?"

XiaoRui quickly understood, and nod his head and continued with all seriousness, "Mummy, what daddy said is also reasonable and logical too. Just look at us, whenever we go out, you are afraid that someone will come and grab me and sister away, however with daddy's bodyguards around us, there won't be another incident where sister almost got lost."

"What?!" XiaoHan who was driving in front, could only feel like his mind was going to explode from a million questions with regards to what happen and that in turn impaired his ability to drive. He suddenly did an emergency brake, and caused the three cars behind him to have to do the same, however it as still too late for them to stop in time and they bumped into each other.

XiaoHan quickly turned his head around, and stared angrily at YouYou, "You tell me what happened? How could you have almost lost our daughter?"

YouYou was taken aback, she did not expect the bastard to abruptly stop the car all because of what her son said.

"No..... I did not lose her!" YouYou quietly said as she stared back at him.

That time she was getting her son to try out some clothes, and when she turned around, her daughter have disappeared, she was so frightened that she went around and look for her. Finally, she found her daughter in the toy store opposite of where they were, staring and smiling at a self-illuminating crystal ball. Since then, whenever YouYou went out with her two children to shop for things, she was a lot more aware of her children's whereabouts to avoid the same thing from happening.

XiaoRui immediately pouted in dismay and chided, "Daddy, did you use money to buy your driving license? Why did you drive like an inexperienced newbie? I almost knocked my head with your abrupt braking."

YouYou could not hold back a chortle when he heard what her son said and laughed openly. XiaoHan gave a look of disbelieve at that, how could that little rascal suggest that his driving license was bought with money?

"I'm sorry, it's daddy's fault, daddy will focus on driving better." XiaoHan sincerely and openly apologised to his son of his wrongs. After all, the reason why he wasn't thinking right and suddenly stopped the car was because he heard that his daughter was almost lost.

"Then can you please continue to drive safely, don't keep looking at mummy!" XiaoRui's little brain can be sometimes deviously sharp, however sometimes he could be also silly and naive, right now he revert to his childlike innocence and mistook XiaoHan's incessant staring at YouYou for daddy wanting to look at mummy.

YouYou's smiling face momentarily froze. While XiaoHan looked with disdain as he pursed his lips, why would he even want to look at that woman? What a joke!

He continued with his driving, and YouYou turned her focus to the passing scenery outside of the car window, occasionally when she turned her eyes back into the car, she saw the man's back driving intently. In her frustration, she gently bit her lip and turned her focus back to scene outside the car. The time was 2pm in the afternoon by now.

XiaoRui's. stomach was growling as he gently rubbed his hungry tummy as he looked at his mummy and said, "Mummy, I am hungry, let's go find some food shall we?"

YouYou and XiaoHan was immediately shocked back to reality, they have been so focused on the custody issue of the two kids that they have totally forgotten about lunch.

At this moment, upon hearing what XiaoRui said, both of them suddenly felt famished.

"Ok, once we get back home, mummy will cook noodles for you to eat ok." YouYou immediately coaxed.

XiaoHan suddenly open his mouth and said, " I have not had lunch too, let's go find a place to eat instead, the children are growing up and need more nutritious food than noodles."

"Oh yeah! Mummy, let daddy bring us all to lunch please." XiaoRui clapped his hands gleefully.

YouYou's little face froze, she looked at her son sternly and said, "What have I taught you before? Never accept and eat anything offered by a stranger, have you forgotten?"

"But he's daddy, not a stranger!" XiaoRui replied defiantly.

XiaoHan noticed that this woman like to give him problems, however for the sake of being able to have lunch with his children, he throttled back his grievances with her and patiently said, "Let's just have a meal together, I won't do anything to you anyway."

"I do not want to have a meal with you! Hurry up and send us home." YouYou was adamant about not spending even one more second of her time with him.

"Mummy, daddy have already politely invited us......"

"XiaoRui Tang, if you wouldn't stop your nonsense this instance, I am going to get mad!" YouYou stared sternly at her son and gave him a final warning. XiaoRui quickly straightened up and shut his mouth, not daring to ask again.

XiaoHan did not expect this woman to be so unyielding and would not reciprocate his kindness with respect. He already said that he would treat them all to a meal, not only did she declined him, she also forbade him from having some time with his children to have a meal together. This frustrated him to no ends.

In the end, at YouYou's insistence, XiaoHan still sent the three of them home and dropped them off at the her aunt's place.

"XiaoRui, tomorrow daddy will come and pick you and XiaoNai to go to a new school!" XiaoHan got out of the car and walked over his son and knelt down and patted his little head as he gently said.

"Ok, let's talk again tomorrow!" XiaoRui beamed positively.

YouYou grabbed her son's little hand and quickly guiding him away, and started walking towards the building.

XiaoNai who have been asleep throughout the car journey, woke up and raised her little head from YouYou's shoulder and saw XiaoHan.

"Daddy....." She called out in her daze.

XiaoHan quickly stepped towards his daughter when he saw that she had woken up and even called out to him.

"Daddy..... Mummy, I want to play with daddy....." XiaoNai have completely woken up this time and upon seeing her daddy, she quickly made her request.

"No, we are going home to eat now!" YouYou hugged her daughter tighter and increased her walking pace.

XiaoHan saw his daughter's sad little face, and wished he could just go up to them too grab his daughter back, however that fiery woman had already stepped into the lift with his two children and closed the door.

"F...." XiaoHan could not help but cussed. Even though his mind was thinking all about his children's laughter, XiaoHan had no choice but to leave and be on his way. If this was any other matters, he would never have given in no matter what. However, when it comes to this very matter, it really gave him a major challenge and it was no longer within his control or his wants.

Sigh, he felt like he was taken on an emotional roller coaster the whole of today, he had experienced some major fluctuations. This cannot do, he must find ways to bring his children back to live with him, otherwise he would not be able to concentrate on his job at hand if he is constantly worried over them.
