Chapter 60 - The Little One Runs Him Down

YouYou stepped on the accelerator and quickly left. XiaoHan furrowed his eyebrow deep in thoughts, this woman is rushing somewhere, could it be she was going to meet her ex-lover? Hmph! She dare drive his car to meet her ex-lover XiaoHan was boiling mad inside, however he was not able to vent his anger out.

"Daddy.... How did you manage to convince mummy to stay?" XiaoNai who was playing with her brother beside, went to her daddy's side and hugged his thick and long leg as she looked up innocently at her daddy with her cute little face and smiled joyously as she asked.

"Daddy told mummy that I would take care of her and love her, so she decided to stay!" Looking at his daughter's exquisite little face, XiaoHan's anger quickly subsided. He stooped down and gently gave a little peck on her sweet little face with his thin lips.

"Daddy fell in love with mummy?" XiaoNai happily asked.

XiaoHan loved looking at her daughter's happy smiles, she looked literally like an angel on earth.

"I will love her gradually!" XiaoHan was a very proud man, so he will never admit so easily.

XiaoRui walked over from beside them, pursed his lips and said, "Silly XiaoNai, you should learn that nine out of ten sentences men said are false, and you believe what he said? Really so silly."

"Don't you dare scold me silly!" XiaoNai was not happy about it and shouted back as she tried to grab XiaoRui, XiaoRui loved to tease her and he started running as he laughed, "Mummy already have someone she likes, she won't fall for daddy!"

XiaoHan was barely consoled by his daughter when his son's words managed to rouse his anger once again.

He took a big stride and easily caught up with his son and grabbed his little hand, "XiaoRui, daddy ask you, you knew who mummy liked?"

"I know, but I'm not going to tell you!" XiaoRui stuck his tongue and pulled down his eyelid cheekily. XiaoHan immediately stood down and grabbed his son's shoulders and looked at him seriously, "XiaoRui, tell daddy, daddy will reward you with a new toy."

"Nope! I will never betray mummy. I am a small big man, and I am trustworthy!" XiaoRui stared back at his daddy with the equal seriousness as he replied with dignity. XiaoHan looked incredulous, he didn't expect his son to be that serious and firm, he turned his head and asked his daughter instead, "XiaoNai, do you know?"

"Know what?" XiaoNai blinked her big innocent eyes at her daddy.

"Do you know the uncle that your mummy likes?" XiaoHan kept his temper in check as he tried to asked as gently as he could.

XiaoNai stretched out her hand and started closing each finger as she counted, "Uncle Jack, Uncle Wang, Uncle Lee.... Oh no, daddy, I can't finished counting with one hand."

"....." XiaoHan became wordlessly silent. His temper has exploded inside as he thought, YouYou Tang, you better be coming back her right now and explain this thoroughly, just now many men have you had affairs with......

Beside them, XiaoRui was smirking as he looked at his silly little sister's serious expression, as she counted off the number of guys that have tried to court their mummy in the past and seeing their daddy literally fuming mad as the counting went on.

XiaoNai indicated that her own memory is lacking in this aspect, so she turned and look at her brother with her big crystal clear black eyes and asked, "Brother, I'm sure you would remember better than I did?"

"Forget it, don't need to count anymore,daddy can't be bothered to know anyway!" XiaoHan was close to exploding inside again at that. He did not understand why he became so agitated and angry when he heard the number of guys that tried to court that woman.

YouYou drove the car and entered the city area. At this timing, XueRou should be out of the mansion. To quickly locate her, YouYou made a call to XuanChen and got to know that XueRou is at TianYu Media Group's office. YouYou had to turn on the car's navigation system to find the location of the office, when she reached her destination and raised her head, she saw right in front of her a very tall and majestic tower.

This is the entertainment industry's hub where all of the well known celebrities are gathered at. When XuanChen heard from YouYou that she is coming over, he had made sure to wait for her arrival at the lobby of the tower. He kept looking over at the passenger drop off point for cab drivers but totally did not expect an expensive and luxurious car to roll in and stop in front of him and from within the car stepping out, was YouYou.

XuanChen looked surprised, from what he knew, it's not possible for YouYou to be able to afford such an expensive and luxurious car.

"YouYou, did you buy this car?" XuanChen asked with great surprise.

YouYou shook her head and replied, "No, this was borrowed from a friend."

XuanChen then visibly relaxed but was still secretly amazed with how YouYou manage to know such a wealthy friend in the short time since she returned from overseas.

"Where is XueRou? I have important matters to look for her for."

"I'll bring you up to meet her!" XuanChen pushed aside his curiosity and replied.

In the lift, XuanChen tried to probe gently and asked, "YouYou, it's been so many years, are you with someone now?"

YouYou looked taken aback a little and immediately replied, "No, I am still very much single."

XuanChen was bursting with happiness internally upon hearing her replies and deliberately said, "I am also very much single."

"Is that so?" YouYou chuckled politely, but felt no stirring in her heart at all. She used too regard XuanChen as the man that would be her partner for life, however, now that she has a pair of children with her, she didn't think she was worthy of him anymore. She knew this very well, therefore she rather not think about it anymore.

XueRou saw YouYou approaching her and her beautiful face suddenly contorted with fury. "Why are you still here?" XueRou quickly walked over to YouYou and asked with part of her hair covering her face.

The men she had sent to follow YouYou managed to lose her on the way and that had upset her tremendously, she then made her men wait at the airport to keep a look out for her. However, that was over an hour ago and they still have not reported back since and she was increasingly feeling like she had been duped. Right now, YouYou even appeared in front of her, so how could she not be angry about it? She wished she could literally throw YouYou overseas right now so that she can never return.

YouYou dropped by at the bank en-route to meet XueRou and have already transferred all of XueRou's money back to her. XueRou was busy having her hair fixed earlier on, so she did not hear the notification from her phone and was naturally surprised to see YouYou appearing in front of her.

"I'm not leaving anymore! You money have been transferred back to your bank account, please check." YouYou deliberately ignored XueRou's seething expression and blandly said.

"YouYou Tang, you bloody liar, you've gone back on your own words!" XueRou shouted furiously at her.

YouYou replied emotionlessly, "You are he one who didn't keep to your words in the first place. You said that you will return me my pendant this morning, but until now you still don't have it."

XueRou glared furiously at YouYou with her beautiful eyes, she have no way of rebutting what was just said.

"Money I have returned to you fully, that agreement we signed is therefore of no value anymore, so please do not come and disturb my life anymore in future." YouYou coldly and firmly said then turned and started to leave.

"Don't you dare leave!" XueRou hurriedly stepped in front of YouYou with her hands stretched out to stop her from leaving, "You haven't come clear wth something."

YouYou's lips quirked slightly, she smirked as she asked, "What else do still need me to say? Whatever I needed to say has been said!"

XueRou looked at XuanChen beside them and said, "Go out first, I have things I need to talk to her privately."

XuanChen looked at the two women and wrinkled his forehead as he became curious with what they else they had to discuss about in private.
