Chapter 65 - Daughter Is His Supporter

XiaoHan could not deny what his son just said and sighed as he replied, "Yes, on this matter, daddy have indeed made a terrible mistake. Daddy really want to make it up to you all too. So XiaoRui, tell daddy, what should I do to make it better?"

XIaoHan could now clearly discern that his daughter must be his previous life lover, and in this life, she was his heart's cozy jacket that will always be supportive and loving him as her daddy. His son, on the other hand is an overly matured little devil, and to gain his trust and acceptance will be a long road ahead.

XiaoRui's rolled his large wise eyes twice as he thought about what his daddy said, then he wisely replied, "If you think you can make mummy fall in love with you, and that you love her with all your heart, then I will forgive you."

"Can we change that condition to something else instead!" XiaoHan could abide to anything, except that. It's impossible for him to fall in love with that woman, moreover he cannot guarantee that she will fall for him too.

"No other conditions will suffice, daddy, whether you and I can truly bond, really depends on you already." XiaoRui looked like a little man who have achieved his little ambitions as he replied.

XiaoHan glared at his son with a headache starting behind his forehead, this little devil only knows how to stand up for his mother instead of sparing a thought for him. "Alright, I will try my best, however I cannot guarantee.... What if I am not the type your mummy likes?" Even though he felt that this is a insurmountable task, XiaoHan however felt that he have to give it a try no matter what.

"If it comes to that, then it's really unfortunate. If mummy has some other uncle that she likes, then I will respect mummy's decision!" XiaoRui looked as it it's not a big deal.

"Hey, you are my son, how could you so easily acknowledge and accept other men as your father?" XiaoHan became anxious and his face darkened a shade at that. Does this little guy know the seriousness of this matter at all, he is his son, so how could he even entertain the thought of calling someone else father? That is something he will never agree to.

"Well, since you don't have the ability to make mummy fall in love you, then I will have to accept the reality isn't it? Daddy, do your best!" XiaoRui  swung his little leg on the sofa as he nonchalantly replied. XiaoHan looked at his son, whom looked so much like him, incredulously as he thought about his son's words. Great! His son, despite being so young, already knew how to threaten others. He has definitely inherited his own dark, brutal and cool personality.

"XiaoRui, since you also wish for me to be with your mummy, then why not help daddy create more opportunities for me to get close to her?" XiaoHan decided to pull his son into the hot soup with him, he should then be able to get things done easier. 

XiaoRui was very sharp and smart and knew that this could happen as he replied, "I am just a little kid, I will not get involved or interfere with what goes on between adults, moreover, I will not help you with your quest to conquer my mummy's heart, because I would want mummy to still be able to make a choice and choose the person she likes instead. Even if she don't choose you and decide to choose some other uncle instead, I will fully support her. She really had a hard time so I will love her and care for her no matter what."

XiaoHan was speechless, his son is so young yet so sharp. Is this what the woman considered as good education? Hmph, look at what nonsense his son is spouting now, she must take full responsibility of this!

YouYou carried her daughter out from the bathroom, and found XiaoHan in a different set of clothes, sitting on the sofa. She furrowed her eyebrows and asked with annoyance, "Why are you still around?"

"Mummy, daddy promised me that he will keep XiaoNai company when I sleep tonight." XiaoNai suddenly spurt out and shocked everyone there. YouYou was especially taken aback and immediately disagreed, "XiaoNai, no, Mummy will hug you to sleep tonight instead."

"I don't want! I want to sleep with both daddy and mummy! Please mummy, I have never had the chance to have daddy with me with I'm sleeping." The little fella have absolutely no idea about the complexities of adult relationships and only wished that she could experience what other children experienced by going to sleep like a little angel between her daddy and mummy.

"XiaoNai, how about this, tonight, let's get your brother to sleep with us alright?"

"No! Brother will kick my tummy in the middle of the night and steal my blankie, I don't want to sleep with him!" when XiaoNai's temper is escalating, nothing else will go in to her head. She then scrunched her face and blinked her tear filled eyes and added on, "The children in the cartoon all had their daddy and mummy accompanying them when they go to sleep."

XiaoHan was over the moon when he heard his daughter wanting him to accompany her as she slept. Even though YouYou had outright rejected her request and made him a little annoyed, his daughter's adamant request made him really happy.

XiaoRui quickly scolded her on the side, "Coward!"

XiaoNai heard her brother scolding her and became indignant, her teary eyes glared at her brother as she retorted, "Brother is annoying!"

YouYou is most afraid of her two children bickering, because when they are fully energized, they could easily bicker for half a day with each other. At this moment when the two little fella started bickering with each other, YouYou despairingly put her hand to her forehead and sternly said, "Enough! On less sentence from either of you please. XiaoRui, I'll sleep with you tonight, XiaoNai, you sleep with your daddy ok?"

"No....... I want to sleep between daddy and mummy!" XiaoNai may be little but she sure knows how to make a huge request. XiaoHan felt so blessed to have a daughter, the more he looked at her, the more he want to hug her and shower her with loves and kisses.

"I think our daughter's request is also not too ridiculous, if not lets....."

"No! Absolutely no! I just can't do it." YouYou did not even wait for XiaoHan to finish what he had to say and immediately rejected his notion. XiaoHan's handsome face momentarily sank a little. What is this woman thinking? If not for his daughter's request, he wouldn't even want to share a bed with her!

"Sigh, such a crybaby, when can you be like me and be more calm and collected? I really suspect if you are even my sister." XiaoRui sighed as he looked sadly at his little sister.

YouYou found this situation really ridiculous, her devious son ought to be spanked for always wanting to disturb his little sister, now that his sister was frustrated to tears, doesn't that make show that he is rather immature too?

"I don't want yo as my brother! Tomorrow I will find FeiFei and ask him to be my brother instead! he treats me better too." The FeiFei that XiaoNai mentioned was her kindergarten school mate, at noon time when they were having lunch, FeiFei fed her some food so XiaoNai felt like he treated her better.

"I can't be bothered to talk to you anymore. Mummy I am going up to sleep first!" XiaoRui always preferred to sleep alone anyway, it's where he got his courage from and was able to go to sleep without his mummy with him.

In all the years that XiaoHan had lived, today was the only day where he had the least say over anything at all. His deep eyes swept over to that woman's taut little face now and then and wondered could she be so cold blooded, their daughter have already cried so much and yet she refused to give in. Does she even love their daughter at all? 

YouYou stooped down and tried to talk some sense with her. However at this moment, XiaoNai's wholeheartedly wished to be able to sleep between her daddy and mummy, and refused to listen to anything anyone has to say.

"Mummy, I beg you please, just this once please!" XiaoNai was adamant with what she wanted, because she have never experienced what it felt like to sleep between her parents and would dearly want to experience it even for once.
