We walk into the kitchen where Kate was currently cooking. She looks up at me and smiles. "Yay, you're here. I've missed you," she said as she wrapped me up in a hug. It had been a few months since the last time I was here and saw her. Kate was the girl to dye her hair fun colors. She had the perfect blonde hair for it and she went to school for it. At the moment her hair was a smokey hot pink. It went well with her hazel eyes. She was shorter than me but had a body like a goddess. She wore short shorts and a crop top with her hair up.

"I've missed you too." I breathed. She pulls back and looks at Noah. She hums.

"Who's this hottie?" She asked. Deon hissed she waves him off. "Relax," I look at Noah. He smiles at her.

"This is Noah. A friend of mine from Princeton." She looks at me as she wiggles her eyebrows. I giggle. "Not that type of friend." She shrugs and looks back at him.

"It's nice to meet you, Noah. I'm Kate. Deon's fiance." Noah gives her his sparkling smile.

"It's nice to meet you too." Kate turns back to me.

"You are probably going to be angry with your brother." I fold my arms as I glance up at Deon. He looks at her and back at me.

"Why? What's up?" I asked. He sighs which caught my attention.

"Trent is staying here for a few. So you have to deal with him." I give him a surprised look.

"What?" I asked. He scratches the back of his neck.

"Please try to be nice for one day."

"No promises," Noah mumbled. Deon looked at him. Noah looked at him. "I'm sorry but the way he mistreats women pisses me off." Deon nods.

"And I had a talk with him. Well, I hit him a few times but the point is he promised to be on his best behavior." I look at Noah as he crosses his arms and looks at me. I sigh and Deon gives me a small smile. "Why don't you go show Noah around." I grabbed Noah's hand and turned around. I dragged him around the house showing him where everything was and then we made our way outside. He looks at the pool in the back and smirks.

"Why don't you go put a bikini on and get in?" He said turning to me. I crossed my arms.

"You are such a flirt." He nods.

"It's a gift." I nod as I look away from. I give my best forgetful face when I turn back to him. "What?" I smile.

"I almost forgot." I walk up to him as he was standing next to the pool. I grabbed a leaf off the ground and looked at him. "Let me show you a magic trick." He gives me a confused look.

"Why?"

"Because it's funny." He sighs.

"Fine." I held out my hand.

"I need everything in your pocket." He crosses his arms.

"Why do I feel like this is a setup?" I give him a small smirk.

"Don't you trust me?" He chuckles as he digs his keys, phone, and wallet out of his basketball shorts. I set them on the table behind me and mine. I walk back over to him. "Hold out your hand." He does as I say and I place the leaf on his hand.

"What is this magic trick?" He asked.

"Crumble up the leaf." He did as I said and I smile. He looks up at me.

"That's it?" I shake my head.

"No that was a distraction." He scuffs.

"From what?" I take my left foot back a step behind me to balance myself as I use all my energy to push him into the pool. He lands in with a splash getting me partly wet. He comes up and looks at me. "Really?" He had a mad look on his face. I thought I had pissed him off. He comes to the end of the pool pulling himself out of the water.

"Noah I'm sorry I thought it-." Just as he was halfway out of the water he grabbed my hand and pulled me in. I gasped at the coldness and quickly got to the surface. I look at Noah who was laughing. I splash him. "Noah!" He just laughs harder. I look down at my short jean shorts that were now soaked and my white crop top that was showing my hot pink bra. I look up at him. "White is see-through when you get it wet," I said to him. I wasn't at all mad. He walks over to me.

"I'm sorry, Hope." He said as he was about to grab my hand. I jumped on him causing him to go under. I giggled as he quickly comes back to the top. He looks at me. "You little-." He picked me up and threw me in the deep end. I come back up to see him smirking. I let my foot slip.

"I can't swim," I said pretending. He swims over to me quickly and picks me up.

"Are you okay?" He asked worriedly. I laid my head on his arm. I closed my eyes and stuck out my tongue.

"And I'm dead." He lets out a huff.

"I thought you were drowning." He said with a deep breath. I giggled and looked up at him.

"My hero." He smiles as he looks down at me. He glances down to my lips. My lips parted slightly as a small gasp escapes my lips. He bends his head down to mine. Just as his lips brush against mine I heard the slider door opening. I jumped on Noah pushing him under. I giggled as he gets back up. He just laughs as he looks at me.

"Get a room would you?" I heard Trent say. I looked at him on the edge of the pool. He had his hands tucked in his tacky shorts as he stood on the edge of the pool. I rolled my eyes at him as I splashed water his way. He backs up but it still reached him. "Real mature." Noah chuckles.
