The room stayed quiet for a long time and Vivian giggled. "I'm just saying it's just a little weird."

"Enough Vivian," Noah spoke for the first time. She looked at him surprised. He sighed.

"I told you that she was only after you for your money. But do you ever listen to me? No. You rather ignore what I have to say than believe that I might be right for once." Lola said. Noah looked up at her. She looked at me with a glare. "You claim he used you but in reality, you threw yourself at him so you were just asking for it." Tears slipped down my face and I stood up. I took three steps before my wrist was grabbed sending me flying into someone's chest. I looked up to see Noah looking at me. I was surprised. I looked down at his hand as he held mine softly. He turned to his mother who looked shocked.

"I have had enough of you disrespecting her because she doesn't have any money. You have no right to accuse someone of being a gold digger when you are the biggest one here. You want me to become a businessman so I can get my money. Let me tell you something. I'm not getting it. I sold the company over to a much reliable source." She shot up to her feet.

"How dare you. You had no right." He scuffs.

"My name on the will said otherwise." She looks at Peter.

"Did you know about this?" Peter nods. "And you let him?"

"He would agree on anything if it meant getting rid of you." She glares at him.

"You did this because you were mad that I spoke the truth? That girl is only after your money. As soon as it's gone she's gone."

"Her name is Hope. And if that were true then she wouldn't have left when she found out about the stupid game. She would have stayed and pretended that she wanted me. She never once asked for a dime or expected it. Her not caring about money is one of the reasons why I love her." I was shocked. I looked at him surprised. He looked at me for a second and down to our hands. I pull away from his grasp.

"What?" I whispered. He gave me a worried look.

"Hope-." I shake my head.

"You used me for a stupid game. How is that love?" I asked. He looks down.

"It started like that but I stopped playing the first time we were standing here." He said looking up at me. I looked into his eyes to see the truth. "I stopped playing the game the moment you walked into the kitchen. Everything else after that was real." I glance at Ivy who was smiling and Eric who nodded.

"It's true," Trent said. I look at him. He stands up. Noah looks at him as Trent glances at him. "I talked to the other guys involved in the game and they said that he quit the game the first two weeks." I looked at Noah who looked surprised that Trent defended him. I shake my head and turn around.

"I need some air." I breathed. I got to the door before I pulled back into someone's arms only this time lips were pressed against mine. I kissed back instantly as Noah's hand went on my cheek and partly on the back of my head. He pulled back out of breath and I looked at him. He gave me a worried look.

"I never meant to hurt you." He breathed. I look a deep breath as I looked into his eyes.

"This all has been too much lately. I need time to process anything before I make any decisions. If you truly love me you'll give me time." He gulps and takes a step back.

"I'll give you want you need." He pulls out his keys and hands them to me. I grab them and look up at him. "Take my car back to your dorm. I'll get it in the morning." I nodded. Trent walks over to us and I look at him. Noah clears his throat.

"Thank you for dinner," Trent said. Noah nods. I walk outside and let out a breath of air. I walk to his car and get in the driver seat as Trent gets in the passenger seat. I look at the door where Noah was standing looking at me.

"Did you know?" I asked.

"About him loving you?" I look at Trent as he looks at me. "Yes,"

"So that's why you didn't kiss me back?" I asked.

"No, I didn't kiss you back because you love him." I swallow harshly as I take another deep breath.

"I wasn't trying to lead you on I-." He grabs my hand.

"Hope, please stop. You really don't have to explain yourself to me. I told you before that I didn't expect anything to come out of that kiss. I am just here for support." I nod. I start the car and pull out of the driveway with one last glance at Noah.
