I walk into Noah's house to everybody sitting in the kitchen talking about whatever. Trent set my bags down by the door and Eric walks up to us. "I'll bring these to the guest house for you." I gave him a small smile.

"Actually I was going to go get everything put away so I can do it." He nods. Deon gives me a confused look and stands up.

"Is everything okay?" He asked. I looked at him and nodded.

"Kevin showed up at the school." Trent blurted. I looked at him with a glared.

"Seriously?" I asked. He shrugs.

"Why weren't you going to tell me?" Deon asked. I turned to him.

"Because I didn't want you to worry. It's not that big of a deal." He crosses his arms.

"What did he want?" I sighed.

"What my father took from him," Noah said. Deon looked at him.

"Which is?"

"My father invited him to his office without thinking and Hope happened to run into them. Kevin raised his hand when he got upset." I looked at Deon. His eyes went on mine.

"He threatened to hit you?" I look down. "Hope what part of that isn't a big deal?"

"All of it because it was a while ago," I mumbled.

"You are not just going to pretend these things don't happen. When I found out about Trent hitting you I was so angry I sent him to the ER. But the difference between him and Kevin is that he was drunk. Kevin is your father and is completely sober." I took a deep breath and looked up at him.

"Thank you for broadcasting my problems for everyone to hear. Like I don't already have enough to deal with." He scuffed.

"Everyone here already knows. These people are your family so like it or not they deserve to know. When are you going to realize that you have people that you can go to if you have problems like this? Ivy and Trent are one of your closet friends. Noah, Eric, and Levi are right along with that. Kate and I are going to be here if you can't go to them. So please explain to me the problem here."

"I don't like feeling helpless, Deon. I'm tired of being the one everyone worries about. I'm fine Deon. Just let me be fine for once." I picked up my bags and walked past him and he sighed. I get to the guest house and set my bags down. I hear a noise behind me to see Trent. I look away from him to the wall. "I don't want a lecturer right now."

"I didn't follow you out here to give you one. I just want to make sure you were okay." I shake my head.

"I'm not. I just want him to stop showing up. I just want things to stop changing." He pulls me into his arms and I sighed as I let him hug me.

"It's going to be okay. You are going to be okay. And the days you aren't I'm going to be right here." I smiled and kissed his cheek.

"Thank you." He smiles.

"Don't mention it." When we pulled back Levi was standing in the doorway. I looked at him as he looked at me.

"Hey," I mumbled. He looked at Trent and back at me.

"So we are just going to pretend that nothing is going on between you two?" I crossed my arms as did Trent.

"I don't know what your problem is dude, but you need to drop it," Trent said. Levi crossed his arms.

"My problem is Noah is my best friend and I don't want him wasting his time with someone who clearly doesn't want him." I shake my head and look away from him.

"You are ridiculous."

"How?" I turned back to him.

"Because if I wanted to be Trent I wouldn't lie about it to Noah. I'm not that type of girl. Honestly, my life is none of your concern." He opens his mouth to say something when he stops.

"Levi, go inside," Noah said. I looked at Noah and looked down. Levi walks away and I look up at Noah. He looks at me.

"I'm going to go see what Deon is doing," Trent said as he looked at me. I nod. I watch him walk away until it was just Noah and I. I take a deep breath and looked at him.

"Nothing is going on between Trent and me." I rushed. Noah looks at me and takes a step forward. I look away. "I just thought I would make that very clear before you-." His lips pressed against mine and it took my breath away. I gladly kissed him back to which he deepened the kiss. When he pulled away I was breathing heavily. He smiled at me.

"I believe you." I giggled at him and looked away. He places a kiss to my cheek and grabs my bags. I watch him walk towards the stairs and I follow him. He sets my bags on the bed and turns to me. "Would you like me to sleep downstairs or Trent?" I shrug.

"Well, you're cuter." He smirks.

"So you want me too?" I nod. He smiles.
