"Damn it! Stay back! Stay away!" Ladros yelled while laying on the floor.

"I couldn't have made it this far on my own." Asta said, "People taught me how to use my power and how to fight. We got through life-or-death situations. We helped each other out while improving how we fight. Friends are only to be used? Not my friends! My friends and I... We boost each other up!"

[Y/n] smiled.

"I-I was wrong! I'll stop hurting people! Please spare me!" Ladros begged, "Please! Take out this sword! I can't get it out on my own!"

"No!" Asta yelled.

"Huh?"

"I know how strong you are, so I'm not gonna get careless! If I take it out and you attack me, I have no chance of winning! Besides, if I'd missed when I threw it at you, I would've lost!" Asta said while pointing his sword at Ladros, "I'm an idiot, so I can't afford to mess up to begin with!"

"No, please... I-I'm begging you! If it doesn't come out, I'm gonna die!" Ladros complained.

"That's not enough to kill anybody! I missed your vital points on purpose! So, I'm gonna whack you again and knock you out!"

"Damn it all!" Ladros yelled and used his remained magic to blast himself in the air, avoiding Asta's sword. Then Ladros pulled the sword out with his reinforcement magic.

"Ow!" Ladros groaned as he stumbled to his feet.

[Y/n] was still treating Mars when she noticed Ladros approach the barrier. Fana stood protectively in front of Mars and [Y/n]. Ladros placed his hand on the barrier, and the magic was being sucked away. [Y/n]'s eyes widened when Ladros got through and held Fana hostage.

"Fana!" [Y/n] called and stood in front of Mars with a shield. 'Think, [Y/n]. He'll only absorb your magic. What can you do?' She thought.

"You're Fana, right? I don't know how you got those powers but use that huge magic of yours right now!" Ladros said.

"Huh? Huge magic? What are you talking about?" Fana questioned. "Quit playing dumb, and hurry it up! Do it or I'll kill him!" Ladros said and shot the blast at Mars and [Y/n].

[Y/n] blocked most of the blast, but the impact still sent her flying backward. "The next shot will kill him." Ladros said as [Y/n] rolled in the dirt.

"Stop!" Fana yelled and a salamander made of fire appeared. It ate Ladros, but he absorbed the spirit's magic.

Ladros chuckled, "This is the greatest magic I've ever eaten." He muttered and licked his fingers.

"You bastard!"

Ladros shot Asta in the shoulder. "Payback time."

"Asta!" [Y/n] yelled as she watched him fall to the ground.

"I've obtained the ultimate power! If I use, the other Eight Shining Generals don't stand a chance. Forget them! I can take the whole kingdom." Ladros said with a menacing laugh, and Asta slowly stood up, "I'll murder everyone who ever looked down on me! But before that, I guess I'd better finish you off." Ladros shot fire at Asta again. "I won't get careless again. I'll keep hitting you with ranged attacks that you can't block...until you're in pieces."

Then Ladros shot a blast at [Y/n], it was a direct hit. "And now that you don't have a healer, you'll surely die." He said with an evil smirk. [Y/n] glared as she struggled to get back up.

"Hm? I wonder how many shots your body can take." Ladros said and shot another blast at her. [Y/n] put up her shield, but the impacted still knocked her back down.
