Asta screamed as he was knocked into the air. [Y/n] watched at Asta flew in the air, trying not to laugh at him. He ended up falling in front of a huge boar that started to chase him. "A wild boar's after me! It's huge!" Asta screamed as he ran away. He wasn't having the best of luck compared to his childhood friend, "Actually, is that even a wild boar?! Isn't it using some magic of its own?!"

"Come on, Asta. They're not so bad." [Y/n] said while petting one on the nose.

"That's not normal!" Asta shouted while running past her. The boar rammed him in the back sending him flying through the air again. [Y/n] couldn't hold in her laughter this time.

Noelle even tried to step in and help Asta, but her spell ended up hitting Asta and making the boar more aggressive. Soon, Asta pulled out his grimoire and cut the boar down, killing it.

"Ohhh." [Y/n] was rather impressed so she clapped for him. "Good job, Asta." Magna praised him, "...but it's not over, yet." He pointed to the lineup of boars ready to charge at Asta. The short male nervously gripped his sword harder.

It didn't take long for Asta to defeat all of them. The only one that was left was the one that somehow befriended [Y/n]. Asta stabbed the boar that [Y/n] was petting, which to her horror.

"Asta!" [Y/n] whined.

"It was the last one." Asta said. The knights continued their journey with Asta carrying 4 boars and Magna carried one. "What a haul!" Magna cheered. "You're pretty amazing." Noelle said to Asta, and [Y/n] nodded in agreement.

"Three or four wild boars ain't nothing." Asta said.

"You've got impressive brute strength. This should make Old Man Seyhe happy. Let's have ourselves a wild boar party." Magna said.

"This mayor of Saussy Village....Seyhe? You know him?" Noelle asked, and [Y/n] noticed the big smile on Magna's face. "Yeah. I've known him for a long time." He said.

"I'm from Rayaka Village, which is just a little past here, but I used to be a bit of a handful when I was a kid. I got a big head after I got my grimoire and went into Saussy Village with an intention of taking over, too." Magna said and explained to them how he met the old man, and how the old man changed his life.

[Y/n] smiled at his story. "It's all because of him that I'm here right now." Magna continued, "When I passed the Magic Knights Entrance Exam, he was happier for me than anyone."

"He must be a nice person." Noelle said.

"Yeah. And he went to the royal capital...well, to get rich quick so he could make some money for his village, but I think he also come to see me." Magna said, "He did take me for every bit of change I had, though! But he's the one who showed me what a real man should be. I wanted to be like him, the person I respected most after Yami-san."

'He seems to really look up to Mr. Seyhe.' [Y/n] thought when suddenly Magna stopped.

"Magna-senpai?" [Y/n] questioned, and he dropped the boar on the ground. "The hell's that?!" Magna questioned while running closer to the cliff to get a better view of what was happening. There was a cloud of fog around the village.

"The village..."

"It's covered in mist." Noelle said.

"Wow, the weather sucks in that town." Asta said, and [Y/n] shook my head.

"It's magic." [Y/n] informed.

"What?!" Asta shouted.

[Y/n] and the other Magic Knights walked towards the village entrance. "Magical Mist?" Asta questioned. "Once we enter it, we probably won't be able to get anywhere. We'll lose sense of direction and end up wandering through the mist." Noelle said, and [Y/n] nodded in agreement.
