A yawn escaped through my mouth, tears pricking at the corners of my eyes. Boredom clawed at my being, there being nothing to do in the R.V other than stare out the window as we sped down the highway. I didn't want to though, since Ben, who was sitting across from me, was pressing his face to the glass to make funny faces at the kid in the other car.

"I'd warn you that your face might freeze like that, but in your case it would be an improvement." Gwen teased as she walked up. I mustered up a snorted at the comment, but kept my gaze on the glass of water I had.

Ben only gave us both a side glare.

A loud bump brought our attention to the redheaded kid in the other car. He sat with his back to us, stuffing a sandwich in this face. He then whirled around cheeks puffed out like a chipmunk. Without any hesitation, the boy opened his mouth to showcase a pile of chewed up mush.

I turned away from the sight, gagging horribly and my stomach churning with tension. The urge to go back to bed and sleep the day away suddenly seemed more tempting than it did a few seconds ago.

"Oh man! The seafood special." Ben exclaimed in surprise. He sounded impressed by the kid's creativity. "Time to pull out the secret weapon." Holding up a finger to tell the kid to give him a few minutes, Ben ducked down out of view and activated the watch.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." I groaned, laying my head on the table as a headache started. I made sure to face away from the window. This little mini war of faces was annoying me.

The green-eyed boy waved me off before slamming a hand down. In a flash of green he was now Stinkfly. Springing up, the bug-like alien roared, spit flying every where. I looked back just in time to see the kid scream in shock, his food falling onto his lap.

The child's scream alerted the father who was driving. He glanced over in curiosity, wondering what had frightened his son. Gasping in shock, the man gave a wide-eyed fearful face, before speeding up. They quickly got ahead of the R.V, speed never slowing.

Ben, on the other hand, lay spread out cackling on the carpet. His spindly legs twitching, while his barbed tail wagged like a dog's.

"There is such a thing as taking a joke too far, you know." Gwen said, hands on her hips and a hard glare painting her features.

Ben's continued to giggle, either not hearing the redhead's words over his laugh, or not caring enough to listen. He instead turned just enough to spray where Gwen was going to sit, across from me, with his snot green goop. She let out a gasp, jumping to her feet, then groaned in defeat.

"Impossible! Funny is funny." Ben smiled, turning his four eyes to me expectantly. I just gave him a blank look and a shrug of the shoulders, not really finding it as funny as he did. He fell silent, eyes lowering a little in what could have been disappointment, or anger. It was hard to tell what he was feeling when it came to some of his alien forms.

"Ben, better get up here!" Max shouted all of a sudden, interrupting the strange tension that had built in our silence. The Rust Bucket jolted to a stop, Max having stepped on the brakes. It sent Ben sliding forward, probably giving him rug burn, only stopping when he hit the dash of the R.V. Max simply glance down in confusion, before brightening at the sight of Stinkfly. "Oh, good! You're already to go. We got trouble ahead."

Gwen and I got up, stalking to the front to see what the issue was. Through the large windows, I saw a large, blue tanker truck rammed right into a small, cargo truck. Smoke billowed from in between the two, and a small fire flared to life right in front of the passenger door. Looking closer, I noticed a man banging against its window shouting, what must have been, for help. Car's honked in distress, and some people who had gotten out of their vehicles shouted loudly in panic.
