London, England

Taking a deep breath, she gets lost in the crowed outside of the church. Without even realizing it she ends up standing next to Sam Wilson. If only she was there for Avengers training she would know who he is, "He'll be happy to see your here," Sam says,

"I'm sorry-?" She trails on, "Steve. Your father, he was very distraught after you left two years ago, without even a goodbye,"

"Who are you?"

"Sam Wilson. Falcon. Avenger. Wish we met during better circumstances,"

"It's life, we don't always get better circumstances," She replies following the crowd in. They were led to the seats in the very front of the church awaiting the casket to be brought down the isle.

Acting as one of the pallbearers, Steve carries Peggy's casket, an English flag draped over the top. He swallows hard around the lump caught in his throat ands blinks tries to hold back the tears. Steve's gaze waivers from the alter, and they find Sarah's. He didn't know she would be here. Once he places Peggy's casket on the alter, he finds his seat next to Sarah. The priest steps in front of the mic signaling the beginning of the Ceremony. Sarah offers Steve her hand which he gladly excepts.

"And now, I would like to invite Sharon Carter to come up and say a few words,"

A young women steps up to one of the podiums letting out nervous breath.
Sarah head pops up hearing the last name carter.

Sam quickly taps Steve's shoulder, When he sees the familiar young women standing at the podium. Steve raises his eyebrows as if to say 'what?' to Sam, Steve then follows Sam gaze and he gets a look at the young woman named Sharon Carter.

"Margret Carter was known to most as a founder of SHIELD, but I just knew her as Aunt Peggy. She had a photograph in her office. Aunt Peggy standing next to JFK. As a kid, that was pretty cool. But it was a lot to live up to. Which is why I never told anyone we were related," Shanon briefly makes eye contact with Sarah and Steve.

For Steve, everything he thought about Agent 13 was now coming together, for Sarah it was a nice surprise to see her cousin deliver her mother's eulogy.

"I asked her once how she managed to master diplomacy and espionage in a time when no one wanted to see a women succeed at either. She said, compromises where you can. Where you can't, don't. Even if everyone is telling you that something wrong, is something right. Even if the whole world is telling you to move, it is your duty to plant yourself like a tree, look them in the eye and say, 'No, you move'," Sharon Carter's words trailed on, embedding into Steve's mind even after the Ceremony. He stands next to Sarah, the lone people in the church. Everyone had left, Sharon and Sam await outside while Steve has a private moment with Sarah.

"Wanda got in touch with you?" Steve asks leaning on one of the church isle'

"Yeah, but I got a text from an unknown number before she called, It said 'she passed'. I knew in that moment it was mom,"

"You called her mom," Steve says, a small smile coming to his lips.

"Yeah, I've seen her a couple times. Only a couple, because it broke my heart that she never seemed to remember me," Sarah begins to say taking a deep breath and smiles, "-but when she did...she told me some 'happy' stories of my childhood,"

"I'd love to hear them," Steve says,

"Files are not the same as hearing it from someone, I'd love to hear any stories that you have too, whether they're of her...or you,"

A lone figure makes their way down the isle towards the father daughter pair. Steve and Sarah turn their eyes to see Natasha Romanoff.

"When I came out of the ice," Steve starts, " I thought everyone I had known was gone. Then, I found out that Peggy was alive and we had a daughter together," he smiles at Sarah before he says, "Don't ever leave me like that again,"

"Spoken like a true father," Natasha says teasingly before turning to Sarah, "Secretary Ross has been looking for you,"

"Who?" Sarah questions,

"Don't worry about it," Steve then turns to Natasha, "She is not going to be signing the accords,"

"I haven't been under a rock, I've seen the news...Who's signed?"

Natasha crossed her arms over her chest, "Tony. Rhodey and Vision."

"What about Clint?" Steve asks,

Natasha smirks, "Says he's retired,"

"Funny," Sarah remarks.

"Wanda?" Steve asks and Sarah's head perks up,

"To be dated. I'm off to Vienna for the signing of the Accords. There's still plenty of room on the jet, for the both of you," Steve sighs, lowering his head, Natasha continues "Just because it's the path of least resistance doesn't mean it's the wrong path. Staying together is more important than how we stay together,"

Steve looks her in the eyes, "What are we giving up to do it?"

Natasha didn't answer.

"I'm sorry, Nat. but-"

"We won't be signing it," Sarah finishes for her father,

"I know," Natasha replies

Steve looks up at her. "Then what are you doing here?"

Nat tilts her head, "I wanted you to know that I'm your friend. And I didn't want you to be alone, but you're not alone," she says smiling towards Sarah, "I'm glad you have her," Natasha says.

"Me too," He says staring admiring his daughter.
