ii. Chapter 19: "-You're coming with me"

Captain America runs further into the building in search of Rumlow, Punching various mercenaries in his wake.

Wanda begins to pull the gas out of the building. It only took a couple of minutes before most of the poisonous gas was outside the institution, forming a funnel.

Rumlow, already getting what he came for, walks out one of the back exits pulling off his gas mask. He checks his surroundings before looking up to see the gas he armed the building with being dispersed in the atmosphere.

"He's here,"

"Rumlow has a biological weapon," Steve says, seeing the vial is missing

Natasha reaches the institute on a motorcycle, "I'm on it," she says, ridding up to one of the mercenaries guarding Rumlow's escape vehicle.

Running forward, she begins to take out the agents. These uselessly trained agents didn't stand a chance against the Black widow, and her widow bites, Crossbones, was another story.

Crossbones grabs her by her leather jacket and pulls her onto the top of the tank. Natasha fights back and manages to jab her fist into his throat, Stunning him, "I don't work like that no more," he says menacingly.

She looks up at him in shock before he throws her in the tanks hole.

Grabbing a grenade from his belt, "Fire in the hole," he mocks, dropping it in, and shutting the hatch locking Natasha and the mercenaries that are in there with her in.

The ticking from the grenade acts like a timer telling Natasha how much time she has left. After fighting off the agents, she uses one of them as a shield, "No," the mercenary yells, but it was too late.

When the grenade explodes, Natasha is blasted out of the tank, she takes a few minutes to catch her breath.

Captain America ran onto a balcony and spots Crossbones aiming a mounted grenade launcher at him. A grenade slams into Steve's shield. Captain America scrambles to his feet, rushing back in the building for more cover. Rumlow fires one last time, knocking Captain America through a window unable to catch himself. He bounces off a truck before he hits the ground.

Struggling to get up, "Sam," Steve starts to say as he catches his breath, "he's in an AFV heading north,"

Inside the AFV, Rumlow secures the tube that contains the red colored bioweapon, "Take this to the airstrip. We're not gonna outrun them. Lose the truck." He commands his mercenaries. The driver propels the AFV through a food market, many of the people got out the way lucky enough to not be run over,

The truck stops, "Where are you going to meet us?" One of the agents asks,

"I'm not," He replies getting out the truck,

Flying in over the food market, he uses his visor to spot the hostiles, "I got 4, they're splitting up," Sam says,

"I got the two on the left." Natasha rides in hopping onto some cars,

Captain America runs in and spots their gear. When he realizes what they are up to, he says, "They ditched their gear. It's a shell game now. One of them has the payload," he's now frantically searching the area,

A sticky grenade sticks to his shield, he takes a second to look down at it before throwing his shield up, to avoid the By-standards getting hit by the blast.

Steve was so distracted by his shield he didn't see Crossbones coming up behind him. An unexpected powerful blow came from behind. He stumbles through some stands before falling to the floor.

Crossbones walks towards him and says, "There you are, you son of a b*tch," pulling out his metal fist, "I've been waiting for this!" He screams, punching Captain America square in the jaw.

Crossbones tried stomping on Steve, but he rolls out of the way and quickly stands up to block his punch. Crossbones manages to corner him into a wall, "This is for dropping a building on my face," pulling out a knife. From his fists.

Captain America forces Crossbone's arm into the wall and then elbows his jaw before pulling off his gauntlet. Steve stares Crossbones down waiting for his next move, he watches another knife come out his other arm quickly dodges it.

He does a kick hand to hand power move before Kicking Crossbones back. As Rumlow gets on his needs, he takes off his helmet, Captain America steps towards him grabbing his vest. Steve can't help but stare down at him, "I think I look pretty good, all things considered." Crossbones says, breaking the silence.

"Who's your buyer?" Captain America questions.

"You know, he knew you," Rumlow began, "Your pal, your Bucky, let's not forget your daughter, Sarah. Met her too," Rumlow wanted to get into Steve's head, and it looked like it was working,

"What did you say?" Steve asks, in disbelief he grips crossbones vest even harder.

"He remembered you, I was there. He got all weepy about it...Not wanting to risk all the hard work they put 'both' their brains into a blender and shipped Sarah off to Sokovia. Your buddy wanted you to know something. He said to me, 'Please tell Rogers. When you gotta go, you gotta go'," Rumlow smiles and says, "And you're coming with me,"

Steve watches Rumlow's hand, and before Captain America could figure out what he was doing, he presses a button igniting his vest. Wanda contained the explosion around Rumlow, just in time. Trying to move the contained blast away from the civilians on the ground. Wanda ends up directing it very close to a nearby building. The blast also takes out part of the south side of the office building when she lets the explosion free.

Wanda covers her mouth, staring at the destruction she caused. She only sees the flames and only hears the victims cries.

"Oh, my-" Steve stares up, "Sam...We need Fire and Rescue on the south side of the building. We gotta get up there," He says still in shock.
