Author's Note

Hope you guys don't mind, but I took the liberty to skip the fight scene against Steppenwolf. This scene has been really bugging me, It's really anti-climatic. I do plan on remaking Act 6 in the near future when the Snyder cut is realized, I hope it makes up for Justice League. I wish I had enough inspiration to do it, but I don't. For now, you could use your imagination for that scene.

...

Glasshouse

Gotham City, New Jersey

Just as Alfred was about ready to grab a tool, his glass shakes. He stops whatever he's doing and looks down at his glass questionably.

Superman lands, Now wearing the Black and Grey suit Sarah had suggested he should wear. Clark walks up the few steps in front of him. With a smile plastered on his face, Clark says, I'm assuming you're Alfred,"

Alfred smiles back, "Master Kent...Where's?" it seems his question was answered by the sudden appearance of Sarah, "Ahh, there she is," He continues. "And it seems like she has got her powers back...Just in time too,"

"Oh," Clark lets out raising his head slightly, "Thank you, for calling my mother, Alfred,"

"You are welcome," Alfred responds, "The team left a while ago. Steppenwolf base of operations is a nuclear plant located in northern Russia," he informs them.

"Then that's where we're headed,"

Sarah stares down at her ring before pulling it off her finger, "You think you keep an eye on this for me? I'd rather know it's in safe hands then take it with me to battle and risk losing it,"

Clark eyes the exchange very intently.

"Of course," Alfred replies carefully taking the ring.

...

Barry and Cyborg fist bump.

The sun shines through the breaking clouds, which were once burning red. After defeating Steppenwolf, the newly formed team stands side by side on a ledge overlooking the powerplant, now covered in freshly bloomed flowers.

"I'm glad I didn't miss this," Clark says breaking the silence from the distance he could even see these flowers flourish in the new environment.

Sarah smiles up at him.

"So am I," Diana adds.

"Yeah. Now she's glad," Bruce remarks jokingly.

They share a look before Diana turns back to the glorious view with a lick to her lips and a sigh.

"It is Beautiful though," Arthur comments.

"You sure it isn't the lasso," Barry points out.

Arthur looks to Barry with eyes that could kill.

After reading Arthur's thoughts, J'onn laughs out, "Oh, Barry you better Run. Run Barry Run,"

"Stay out of my head martian man," Arthur growls.

Sarah rolls her eyes, "And here I thought we were finally getting along,"

"I'm sorry. I'm sorry," Barry says cowering behind Cyborg as Arthur makes his way towards him.

"Gotta learn how to keep that mouth of yours closed, Barry," Cyborg says. He too breaks out into a fit of laughter.

...

Diana and Sarah walk into the dimly lit hall located in the Wayne Manor.

"Nothing like the Avengers Compound, but it definitely has potential,"  Sarah says to Diana, who gives a slight nod towards her statement.

Diana continued to walk towards Bruce and Alfred.

"Must be a hundred, a hundred fifty feet," Bruce comments to Alfred while staring at the room before him.

Hands in his pocket as, Alfred's eyes glanced around the all too familiar room, "Must be," he agrees.

Bruce takes a brief pause before saying, "Big round table, Eight chairs right there," his hands animating the idea.

Diana and Sarah, now standing in between Alfred and Bruce.

"But room for more," Diana suggests.

"But room for more," He repeats her suggestion, as a sign of agreement.

...

While Sarah helped Martha bring the furniture from the trucks into the house, Clark walks up to Bruce.

"Thank you, isn't enough for what you did," Clark says, placing his hands in his pockets.

Bruce shrugs. "Undid a mistake, that's all,"

Clark smiles turning his attention back to his mother and Sarah, Thinking about his new future, "I can have a life now, with her. It's all I ever wanted. To hang up my cape and live a normal life-" Then he stops.

Bruce senses his hesitation, "Cold feet?" he questions.

"Definitely not..." Clark grins, "She's my world," He breathes out, "but-" he trails on.

Bruce ponders tilting his head, "But what?"

"This isn't 'her' world...and I know how much she would like to go home," He says sadly.

"Meaning...You'd be going with her," Bruce says in realization. "What would this world be without Clark Kent," He jokes.

"Technically, he's dead," Clark notes.

"If need be, I would assist," J'onn interrupts, Bruce was the only one of them that didn't know he was in the vicinity, "I can alter the memories of the ones who knew you as Clark Kent," J'onn continues on to say, "Make it seems like he never died at all,"

"Thanks for the suggestion, You know what would be a better one?"

"A way to get Sarah back to her earth," J'onn answers, "I Don't need to read your mind to know that's what you're thinking," He responds to his confused facial expression. "I think I may have found away. With the help of Victor and Barry, there is a possibility we'll be able to get her home," he promises.

Clark lets out a sigh of relief, He hopes J'onn will come through on his promise, only time will tell, however.

"Bruce, I've been meaning to ask you...How did you get the house back from the bank?"

"I Bought the Bank,"

Clark slowly ticks his head towards him. Bruce pats his back with a smile, in a friendly manner he pushes him forward.

J'onn follows a couple of inches behind them. There's smirk also plastered upon his face.

"The whole Bank?" Clark questions.

"Clark, Is it really that big of a surprise?" Sarah questions coming out of the house hearing the whole last bit of their conversation, "That's his answer to everything," She remarks jumping off the last step.

"It's a reflex," Bruce mumbles.

Sarah shakes her head, letting out a laugh, Clark and J'onn's laughter soon follows hers.
