Before The Lightning Strucks (KOV #1)

Prologue

An unknown feeling, I can't move or speak nor lift a hand.
Where am I? I tried to open my eyes but I can't see them clearly, I'm sure I'm not in the house nor in a school clinic
So where the hell am I?

I tried to lift my fingers and I can hear them shouting and calling the doctors. I opened my eyes and I saw a white ceiling, and people are around me, they look worried. What happend to me?

"Dr. Manuel! She's awake!." a man shouted. I can hear foot steps approaching, the doctor came running and asked me along with 2 nurses.

"Hija. Can you hear me? If so follow my two fingers". He showed a peace sign and I followed it using my eyes. "Can you speak hija?". I nodded. After he checked I notice he was talking to my relatives and he left with the nurses.

Another man showed up and he's calling me, then I notice that it's my father.

"Anak! Can you recognise me?". He asked

All of them are surely asking the same thing but none of them are speaking. "Yes papa, I can recognise all of you". He smiled with teary eyes. After my father, my mom is now in front of me crying.

"Anak... Are.... you okay? Can you..... remember anything?". She asked with a shaky voice.

"Opo mommy I feel fine now, but what happened to me?". I asked confused. I really wanna know what happened to me, Di ko alam kung bakit ako nakahiga sa ospital and all of them are here looking like a zombie, for sure wala pa silang pahinga. Ilang araw na ba akong tulog? Paano ba ako nagka ganito?

" Anak?.. You don't remember what happened to you? My father asked again, I nodded. Obviously mukha ba akong magtatanong kung may naalala ako kung bakit ako nandito ngayon? Fvck why the hell am I being sarcastic with my parents? Okay calm down pretend that their not asking something stupid.

"Pa, ma. Why am I here? Ano po bang nangyari saakin?". All of the are just staring at me. "Anak.. Are you sure you don't remember anything what happened?". My mom asked. My god! are we gonna do this all day? I just said that I can't remember anything.

My mom and dad went outside to talk to the doctors for sure.

A tall good looking guy approach me,"Dawn? Can you recognise me?". He said in a worried tone. I looked at him for a minute and I can't figured it out so I just stared.

I'm not sure who he is but I felt like I know him, Is he the thin guy who runs fast? Thorin? Thorin Odelle? Fvck It is him! IT'S THORIN! OMG HE'S.. HE'S.. HAND- SOME. I tried my best to calm down cause I was shocked like seriously shocked.

"Thor... I can recog..nise.. you". Fvck my voice is shaking. And now he's really staring at me. What the hell? Did a tear just fall from his eye?

He hugged me tight and I can barely breathed. "Thor..i can't bre..athed". I said while trying inhale some air. He let go once I said that but he's still looked worried.

"I'm sorry Dawn, I was just scared that you might not recognise me anymore". Well I almost didn't recognise him cause now he's taller, bulkier and now he has some muscles? Fvck I cannot process what's happening.

"Thor, what happened? Why did I end up here? What day is it? How long did I slept?". I asked him, for sure he'll answer unlike my parents.

"You were comatose for 2 years Dawn, you slept for 2 years baby". He said and I noticed him looked away. Fvck I slept for 2 fvcking years!? How the hell did that happened?! "Are you sure Thor? You're kidding right?". I asked, "I'm sorry Dawn I wished it was, I do wished it was just a dream that I was just kidding right now but I'm now kidding Dawn, you slept too long my love.". He answered with apologetic tone.

No! No! This is not happening! I tried to calm down but I really can't! What the hell happened!? What's wrong with everyone!? I wanna shout, but I have no strength at all.

" Thor please tell me everything". I begged at him. " I will tell you everything my love but don't force yourself right now, you're still not in good shape". He smiled at me but I can sense his sadness.

I still feel tired and sleepy, that's why I didn't argue and just nodded to him, he sighed relieved knowing that I won't argue with him for now. I'll just sleep again since none of them are willing to explain everything that has happened for the past 2 years.

I closed my eyes again. "I love you my beautiful Dawn, I'm here always". He whispered to my ears. Then suddenly a flashed back came into my memory

I remember me and Thorin, we're in a forest and I noticed that the cloud are dark and it's a signed that it's gonna rain soon. I heard there will be a storm and for sure lightning and thunder are included.

"Thorin! Let's go I'm scared!". I screamed. "Don't worry I'm here Dawn don't be scared my love". He answered sweetly. I was panicking and begging for us to leave but he's just smiling like a fool. He's teasing me. What an asshole.

I can't really take it anymore, "I'm going now Thorin! I hate you!". I angrily said to him. Before I even turned he pulled me. He pulled my waist and stared at me and it feels like a dream, even though i'm scared. It feels like a wonderful nightmare.

Before the lightning strucks he kissed me.

I didn't even noticed the lightning and thunder roars. He was just kissing me and I'm just doing the same to him. Now I don't feel scared anymore, I feel safe. I'm safe with him

"Whenever you'll see a lightning and hear a thunder, I want you to remember me my love".
