I am currently preparing my art materials because I'm going to sketch Rhai's face, ito kasi ang assignment ni Dr. Madeline sa 'kin, tapos ay may counseling pa kami mamaya.

I need to present at least one of my friends for today, bakit pa kasi kailangan sketch at hindi na lang picture? But it's fine with me rin naman, I would love to sketch my friend's face.

Habang nagsisimula na akong magsketch ay biglang bumukas ang door ng room ko.

"Lyra." It was Aunt Sally at umupo pa ito sa kama ko.

"Yes po?" I said still focusing on the sketch I'm doing.

"I just noticed hindi ka na bumibisita sa coffeeshop, and your Dad also started to wonder bakit hindi ka na nakikipag-video call sa kan'ya," she said and I just sighed.

Well, Aunt Sally is right hindi na nga ako pumupunta sa coffeeshop of course I spend most of my time with my friends habang summer pa. And about my Dad, sadyang ayaw ko muna s'ya kausapin.

"Sasabihan ko na lang po si Dr. Madeline na sa coffeeshop na lang po kami magkikita."

"And your Dad? Kailan mo s'ya kakausapin?"

"Hindi ko po alam. Maybe I'll just wait for him to call me first, if he really wanted to talk to me bakit hindi n'ya ako tinawagan?"

Aunt Sally patted my shoulders and she gave me a sad smile, "You know that your Dad loves you so much, Lyra. Huwag naman sana lumayo ang loob mo sa kan'ya, he's just doing his best to protect you."

Yeah, he's doing his best to protect me, even if protecting me means taking my happiness away. I'm safe and protected but I don't feel happiness at all.

"Dad loves me, I know that of course," I said to end our conversation.

"S'ya sige, sumabay ka na lang sa 'kin. Just go downstairs if you're already finish d'yan sa ginagawa mo at sabay na tayong pumunta sa coffeshop."

Nang lumabas si Aunt Sally sa k'warto ay tinext ko si Dr. Madeline na sa coffeeshop kami magkikita.

I did my sketch quickly at kuhang-kuha ang mukha ni Rhai, the truth is wala akong ginayang reference for Rhai's face, kung ano ang mukha ni Rhai sa isip ko ay 'yon din ang naiguhit ko.

After sketching ay agad na akong nagbihis at bumaba.

"Shall we go now?" tanong ni Aunt Sally na umiinom ng tsaa sa sala while watching a noontime show.

"Yes, let's go."

Pagdating namin sa coffeshop ay agad na akong dumiretso sa second floor dahil ando'n na pala si Dr. Madeline, mas nauna pa s'ya sa 'kin.

"Ang sarap pala ng coffee n'yo rito," sambit ni Dr. Madeline pagkarating ko, she's currently enjoying her cup of black coffee.

Isang staff ng coffeshop ang lumapit sa 'min, "Good afternoon Ms. Lyra, ano raw po ang gusto n'yong kainin? Pinapatanong po ng Aunt n'yo."

"Matcha milktea and kitkat cheesecake," I said at nilista naman n'ya ito.

"How about you Dr. Madeline, baka may gusto ka pong kainin?" I asked her and she just shook her head.

"I'm ok with black coffee already," sabi n'ya and the staff immediately excused herself.

"Ginawa mo ba ang pina-assignment ko sa 'yo?" Dr. Madeline asked and I immediately showed her the sketch.

"Of course, I did."

"So, sino 'yan?" tanong n'ya as she take a close look sa sketch ko.

"Rhaiza Mendoza."
