I had gotten to the address a few minutes before 7PM. I leaned up against the same light post that I ad the night before. I sat and twiddled with my finger nails for a few moments until I saw a figure emerge from the shadows. "Y/n, what is this place?" Aria asks out loud. I stand up from my post and walk over to her.

"Shhh! Lower your voice. Do you have your wand?" I ask her in a low tone.

"Uh, yeah but I don't get it, why is that needed here?" she asks.

"We're breaking into this house." I tell her.

"What?!" she whispers out.

"Are you a Slytherin or not?" I say annoyed. I can see her sigh and shake her head as she began following me to the back garden. I used the same spell on one of the back windows that I had used the night of the jewelry store. I climbed inside and then pulled Aria in after me.

"Where in the hell did you learn that?" Aria asks.

"If you spent more time reading books instead of gossip magazines, you'd learn a few useful things." I say in a low voice. I keep my wand out in my hand as I look around. I turn to Aria and begin whispering. "Go sit at the base of the stairs and tell me if you hear anything or see anyone coming downstairs." she nods and hesitantly sits down at the bottom step with her wand in her hand. I can hear the hum of a television from upstairs so I know the man must be up there. "Lumos." I whisper and begin snooping around the house, following the light of my wand. I have no idea what I'm looking for, but I just look around and see no family pictures. No baby pictures, no wedding pictures, nothing. "So a long wolf, obviously." I say to myself. I make my way into the kitchen where I see a table with only one chair, confirming my beliefs. I see a wallet sitting on the edge of the counter. I open it and start flipping through it looking for a driver's license. I find it eventually and pull it out and begin reading the information on it.

I probably should be shocked at what I've just found out, but it makes sense. Tom told me that his dad would be his first horcrux, hence why he would ask me to go scout his house out, and his dad looks just like an older version of him. I slide the license back into his wallet but before I set the wallet back down, I take out the cash that was in it. I count out the 400 pounds and shrug. There was a reason the sorting hat called me mischievous. I set his wallet back down and go find Aria. I saw her and waved for her to follow me out the back window we came in and she wasted no time following me out. Once we made it outside, she had a ton of questions."What was the point of that??" she asks annoyed.

"I had a promise to uphold." I say calmly.

"A promise?" she yells.

"Yes. A promise. Now lower your voice before you get us caught." I tell her. She scoffs at what I say.

"You know ever since you've started hanging around Riddle-" she starts before I cut her off.

"Think about what the rest of that sentence is before you say it." I say enraged.

"Ever since you started hanging around him, you're not the same. You've gone evil." she says hesitantly. I can feel my self getting angrier and angrier.

"Tom has not done anything. Tom is one of the only people at the school that understands my power and doesn't dismiss me." I spit back.

"Of course he is. Your new best friend." she says with a scoff.
