-From your POV-
I walked into the Slytherin common room on a mission and began scanning around the room. Gotcha. I turned to a student who was studying near by and had a stress ball with them (I had no idea what they were studying but if it's THAT bad that you need a stress ball, it's probably math). "Can I borrow this?" I ask her and she gives me a slight nod. I wind my arm up behind my head and dramatically pick up one leg, taking a pitcher's stance, and hurl it at the back of Draco's head.
He stands up from his seat on the couch and turns around, annoyed and wand in hand. "Who did th-" he begins yelling until he spots me smiling evilly. He then gives a slight scoff and walks over to me, putting his wand away and crossing his arms. "Sorcier." .
"Malfoy."
"What was that for?!" he asks.
"I was getting your attention!" I say.
"Because calling my name or tapping me on the shoulder doesn't work??" he asks and I shrug.
"I dunno, I didn't try that, obviously." I say with a chuckle. He sighs and then speaks again.
"So, what is it you needed?" he asks me.
"Wanna go terrorize some Gryffindors?" I ask him in a campy tone. His eyebrows wriggle.
"Don't you have a boyfriend- who is as much of a jackass as you are- to go do that with?" he asks me. I sigh and roll my eyes.
"He's playing stupid magic games with the sixth and seventh years." I say. His eyes almost darken and twinkle at that and then his face twists into a smirk.
"So you're coming to me to hang out with you??" he asks.
"Oh don't flatter yourself you weren't the first choice." I say. He snickers.
"Oh, I am. I bet you didn't tell him I was the backup plan?" he asks and I don't respond. "Mhm. Let's go." he says as we make our way out of the common room. I had brought the invisibility cloak with me and briefly told him about the plan as we began putting it over ourselves and making our way to the Gryffindor common room.
We had the cloak completely covering us now as we stood with our backs against the wall that had the entrance to the Gryffindor common room, waiting for a Gryffindor to come by and say the word so we could learn it and go in. I knew the passwords to the Slytherin, Hufflepuff, and Ravenclaw rooms, but not Gryffindor. I had friends in every other house except Gryffindor. That was how Aria, Victoria, Cierra, and I would sneak back and forth and have sleepovers with each other so often.
Two familiar gingers made their way down the hall with a bunch of stolen snacks in their robes and I recognized them right away: Fred and George Weasley. They were in our year and I swear to God the sorting hat got them wrong by putting them into Gryffindor, they most definitely would fit better in Slytherin. They were also playing jokes and tricking people- I mean, I'm about to do the same exact thing for my own entertainment, so yes- they would fit much better in Slytherin. We listened carefully as they said the word and stepped in and then started quietly giggling to ourselves. I stepped out of the robe and walked over to the painting and repeated the word and when the way opened, Draco's arm appeared from under the cloak and I took it and stepped back inside so we would be invisible in their common room.
We made our way up to their staircase that just barely overlooked the common room. We were silently chuckling to ourselves the whole time in anticipation. We pulled the cloak off and set it down on a step behind us as we arranged our selves on the steps in a way that was fairly hidden.
We used our wands to cast all types of charms and spells; we kept putting out the fire, causing the room to go dark and a bunch of girls started screaming and then before we re-lit it, we'd change people's hair colors and shrink objects in the room, causing them mass confusion when the light was back. At one point, I even cast a spell causing a bunch of spiders to come crawling out of the fireplace, causing more people to start lifting their feet off the ground and freaking out. Draco and I were hysterically cackling but it couldn't be heard through the clamor happening. Most of the people in the common room were first and second years who didn't know what spells to cast to make all of the stuff Draco and I were doing stop. There were a few older kids in there and they were taking turns putting them all out.
About thirty minutes into our reign of terror, people started getting upset and frustrated and blaming Fred and George based on their well-known history of antics.
"It's not us this time!" George argued.
"How do we know that?? You guys trick us almost every single day." one of the Gryffindor girls yelled.
"We tricked you guys earlier today." Fred reasoned, though it only made the others angrier and not necessarily believe them any more.
"Fred and I are more for the long and elaborate scheme. This is all short-term antics." George said.
"Then who is doing it??" another Gryffindor boy cried out. His voice was so high and shaken from screaming and crying that it was honestly funny. I had my hands tightly sealed around my mouth and nose to stifle all laughs, but I heard a few huffs of a laugh behind me and then a snicker and a full laugh fall out of Draco's laugh behind me. I turned around and punched him in the shoulder, causing a laugh to escape my mouth and turning the Gryffindor attention to us. "It was them!!" one of them calls out. I yank Draco's hand and almost fall down the stairs as I skip down them quickly and head for the door.
"It was lovely seeing you all!" I say as I continue maniacally cackling and reaching for the door handle. Draco and I practically fell out into the hallway as we kept laughing. I put a hand out, trying to tell him to shush, but my other hand was on my abdomen from laughing so hard. We were breathlessly laughing as we made our way back to the Slytherin common room. We were able to calm ourselves down and stop laughing before we stepped into the room. "Shit." I mumbled to myself. Draco looked down at me.
"What is it?"
"I left the cloak on the steps." I say.
"Good one." he says back.
"Maybe if someone hadn't blown our cover by laughing I wouldn't have been so distracted by having to make a quick escape." I say and we both let out another small laugh at the recall of what happened. By now, the common room was mostly empty except for that group of gossiping girls- who I would swear just live in that room, at this point- and the table of boys playing cards. I know that's where Draco is going to head off to after I leave so I turn to him and say one last thing. "I'm going to sleep. Have fun playing cards, loser."
"Sleep tight, moron."
"Don't miss me, idiot." I say as I begin going up the stairs to my room.
"I won't, birdbrain."
"I think you might, cow." I call out from the top of the stairs before turning and leaving towards my room.
Tonight was actually a lot of fun; usually, I'd stab myself over hanging out with Draco, but I thoroughly enjoyed terrorizing those Gryffindors. And then they all began turning against their own, Fred and George? I mean, how could I not be entertained?? I sat on my bed as I took my robe and shoes off when Vivian looked up from the book she was reading and looked at me. "You seem awfully happy." she says in an annoyed tone.
"Terrorized some stupid first and second years tonight- oh and got them to turn against Fred and George Weasley." I said proudly.
"Didn't take Tom as the type to pull of petty pranks." she said, looking at her book.
"Maybe not, but Draco is." I said, causing her to look back up from her book.
"I thought you hated him?" she said. I shrugged and kicked off my other shoe.
"Well you weren't going to go do it, obviously, and it's more fun to go with a friend so..." I said and she turned back to her book.
Wait, did I just call Draco my friend??
