A SHORT A/N
Y'all. I wasn't going to drop this update until later this week but we just hit 1k reads. WTF. That's crazy. Anyways, keep voting and I'll drop the next update when you hit 190 votes.
-From your POV-

I kept tapping my foot against the floor impatiently with my arms tightly folded and my head leaning off to the side. Tom was sitting in a chair next to me, resting an arm on his knee and supporting his big fat stupid head with his hand. I let out a sigh of annoyance as we waited for the headmaster to come in. "This wouldn't have happened if you minded your blood business." he mumbles out. I scoff and roll my eyes.

"Maybe if your weird obsession with Mudbloods and power was put on hold for just one moment." I say with a slight head shake. "And you know what? Shame on me for being a good girlfriend. I did all that because I knew you would get caught and in HUGE trouble. I mean, do you forget that you're the only- well, at least you are now- heir to Slytherin at this school?? God, you're so thick sometimes." I criticize.

"What do you mean were being a good girlfriend??" he asks me in confusion. My face twists into a what-did-he-just-say scowl and I turn my head to him.

"Past tense. Ever heard of it? You know, the tense you use when you've broken up with someone." I say and his eyes intensify.

"Broken up??" he asks and I nod my head dramatically.

"What the hell else does 'I think we should see other people' mean??" I shout at him.

"No, you can't break up with me." he says.

"Yes, Tom, I can. I'm not your lap dog." I say as I turn facing forward again.

"But what about-"

"All your secrets? I wasn't planning on spilling them. A cold-hearted bitch? That I am. But a petty snitch, I am not. I mean, that is unless you tell anybody mine." I say to him and he just goes silent for a minute. He opens his mouth and a sound comes out, but before it's anything coherent, it's interrupted by the headmaster entering his office.

"My apologies, for being late. Now, Ms. Sorcier and Mr. Riddle, where were we?" he says as he sits down in his chair across from us and fixes his tie.

"The field." I say dryly.

"Ah, yes. The Quidditch field- whatever you two did- is severely damaged; there's pools of sinking soil from too much water, mysterious black puddles forming, burn marks, ashes, and HUGE gashes of Earth taken out of the ground. I mean, what had to have happened for this??" he asks. I just shrug.

"It was an intense game of Quidditch." I say dryly, causing him to sigh and then take off his glasses.

"Now, you're both star students, popular, well liked, good grades, et cetera. So, you will not be expelled, but you will be banned from your house's common room for two weeks and you have to write a long and sincere letter to the board apologizing for your recklessness and kindly thanking them for agreeing to front the bill of repairs." he says. I just let out a deep breath of boredom. "Understood?" he asks. I nod and so does Tom. "Alright, these need to be signed." he slides two contract scrolls across his desk. I pick up his weird fancy magical quill off his desk and sign my name and Tom does the same he smiles and says that 'the head of your house will see to it that you are not in the Common Room at any point during these two weeks, effective immediately'. Bite me.

I was walking out of the office with my bag and books in hand, resting bitch face turned on, and walking to my next class when I felt a presence next to me. "What do you want, Tom?" I say in a flat tone as I continue walking.
