Enticing

-From your POV-

I stood in my dorm room with my arms folded and my foot tapping impatiently. My jaw was clenched so tight that if I tried to tighten it anymore, my jaw might just break. Victoria sat on the end of my bed with slouched shoulders and a slight frown. "YOU DID WHAT?" I shouted at her.

"I'm so so sorry, please Y/n! I need your help!" she pushed out through tears. "I know I don't deserve your forgiveness, but please I need your mind to fix this." she pleads. Before I could even calm down enough to give her a reasonable response without cussing her out, I heard a knocking at my door.

"Busy." I shout in the direction.

"Y/n, please?" the voice pleads from outside. I can tell already that the voice belongs to Alex. I roll my eyes and stop over to the door and open it.

"Kinda busy." I say flatly. I see his eyes move away for a moment and then back to me.

"Can I at least come in?" he says defeated. I pause for a minute to think and then my eyes light up.

"Yes, yes you can. Get in, now!" I yank him in my his tie and shove him onto my bed so he's next to Victoria. I pull up the desk chair and sit down so we are now sitting face to face. "Alex, you're going to help us. Well, mainly me. But since this bit- Victoria, is here. Us." I say as I glare at Victoria before getting back on topic. "Victoria has royally fucked up." I begin to explain.

"Wait, I came here to ask you o-" Alex starts.

"Alex, if you're not going to be of any use to me I'll sew your mouth shut." I say in a slightly irritated tone before he just leans back a little bit, signaling me to continue. "Einstein over here was trying to investigate Tom for dark magic because she has a ridiculous notion that he had something to do with Aria's disappearance. In the process, she read about Genesis Galamite." I quickly explain who that was to Alex before I begin again. "In the process, she did exactly what the book said not to do! She lit three candles and chanted out a freeing-spell that SUMMONED HIS SPIRIT TO THE SCHOOL AND IS NOW POSSESSING TOM." I say as I feel my temper firing off again. I clear my throat and adjust my tie as I sit back down in my seat. "Not necessarily possessing him, but we believe it has shape shifted into him to feed off his soul and energy and if we don't get Galamite's soul to enter a different object, Tom will die." I say in a serious tone.

"Now remind me, what am I to do about this?" Alex asks. I roll my eyes at his question.

"You're coming to help us fight this bastard." I say confidently.

"I didn't sign up for all of that." he starts to say, becoming standoffish.

"Well, Alex, this isn't optional, is it?" I say as I tuck my wand into my sock. "Now luckily, I am better at dark magic defense than bumble-brain over here." I say as I point to Victoria. "Now, does everyone have their wand?" I say in an annoyingly optimistic tone.

I made my way to the library, where I knew Tom would be on prefect duty. We had come up with a simple plan while on the way to the library; I would entice Tom into leaving his shift and bring him back to the secret room where Victoria would be waiting with a small, wooden box that had a lock and key, to trap Galamite's spirit.

I lightly knocked on the door-frame of the library to get his attention. He looked up from what he was working on at the desk and smiled at me. Before I did this, I wanted to know for sure that this wasn't my Tom. I already had a feeling it wasn't just based on the weird mannerisms and behaviors. I walked up to the desk he was at and leaned my head on one my fists that was supported by my elbow and stuck my other hand out so it was sitting just below his face.
