-From your POV-

A couple of weeks had gone by and nothing happened. I kept pretending to be interested in Malfoy and Vanessa kept following Tom like a shadow, but to be honest, he just kept ignoring her and blowing her off but she never caught the memo I guess. We kept studying Parseltongue together. The holiday break was a day away.

I tucked my wand into my sock and headed off to Dumbledore's class. Tom was sitting in his seat and staring straight ahead. I sit down next to him and he slides a paper over to me. I look at him and then unfold it. "What's this?" I ask him.

"An address. I need a favor while you're in the muggle world." he says flatly. I sit down and look at the address some more. "Go check out that spot and let me know who lives there.".

"A scoping mission?" I ask. He looks at me and nods his head. Class starts so I fold the slip of paper and slip it into my pocket.

When class ends, I stand up and start packing up my stuff and notice that Tom is waiting for me. I sling my back over my shoulder and look at him. "Can you make a promise?" he asks. I tilt my head to the side.

"Be careful." he says in a serious tone.

"Glad to see you've taken a liking to me." I say.

"Business is harder to conduct without suitable associates." he says as we turn and walk out. I just chuckle to myself and shake my head. Tom Riddle, the boy with few clear emotions.

The rest of the day is uneventful and before I know it, I was back in my dorm packing up my suitcase for the holidays. Aria was in the Great Hall still gossiping with Victoria and Cierra. This meant I was alone in my room so I just took advantage of it and played some music. I put on a Queen record and continue packing up my suitcase. I heard a knock at my door so I went over and opened it.  "Draco?" I say as I step to the side so he can come in.

"Y/n, I can't get you off my mind but I need to know. Do I have a chance at anything progressing in the future?" I was taken aback by his question, but then I remembered that his isn't false to him.

"Draco, I think you will make some girl happy one day, but I am not going to be that girl." I say in a soft tone. Quite frankly, I have no problem letting him down harshly and telling him to piss off, but considering how close our parents are, I'd rather not have that awkward conversation when I get home. He slouches his shoulders and starts to pout.

"But I really like you." he pleads. By now, he's interrupting my music and moments of alone time that I valued greatly, so I was starting to get annoyed. I let out a sigh and put my hand on my hip.

"Begging and pouting is not going to make me like you. I don't have feelings for you, Draco." I say firmly. His pouting turns into a temper tantrum as he starts to raise his voice and his frown turns into a evil stare.

"You never had feelings did you? You just used me for some weird mind game? With who?? Riddle?" he takes out his wand and I roll my eyes before taking out mine.

"I got bored and needed amusement and you provided me that. Now that I don't need it anymore, you're useless to me." I say coldly.

"You, bitch!" he takes a step forward and starts to mutter out a spell but before be could finish, I cut him off.

"Expelliarmus!" his wand flies out of his hand and at the same time, I hear fast footsteps enter the room and a familiar Brunette boy appear.

"What the hell is wrong with you, Malfoy?? You hormone enraged idiot."  Tom shouted. He was infuriated. He drags Draco out my the collar and takes him into the hallway where he lowers his voice, but due to the nature of his attitude, I can still hear him threatening to curse him if he tried to pull anything. "And don't you dare drag your daddy into this. Leave her alone, she doesn't want you." he spits out at him. I raise my eyebrows, almost impressed at how omniscient Riddle is. Tom Riddle just threatened to curse Draco's entire bloodline over me?! I pop my head out into the hallway and hand over Draco's wand. Draco extends his hand to take it, but Tom grabs it first and snaps it in half, and then hands the two pieces back to Draco. "Now piss off.". At the speed of light, Draco disappears down the corridor. Tom turns back to me. And I poke my head back into my room and continue packing my stuff up. Tom follows in and sits down on my bed.
