-From your POV-

We were all seated during the opening ceremonies in the Great Hall. I was sitting next to Draco (of course) and without even turning around, I could tell just by the intense presence and the smell of cologne and hair product that Tom was sitting behind me. We watched as all of the first years were getting sorted. Being that Sorcier is towards the end of the alphabet, Eva was quite far back in the line. I was sitting with my legs crossed, back leaned up against the table, and arms crossed in boredom and un-amusement the whole time. I watched as Eva shyly walked up to the hat. She looked deep in thought and worry, and then before you know it, "SLYTHERIN!". She turns to me and blushes as she walks over in my direction.

"Runs in the family, do'nnit?" Tom says in a low and conniving tone from behind me. Without me even turning around, Draco twists his head back and answers.

"You would know, wouldn't you? Heir of Slytherin." he says in a sassy tone before turning back around. I just smile at Tom's lack of response to him. As Eva gets closer, my smile fades.

"No, absolutely not. Go sit with the rest of the first years." I tell her. She stops, just in front of the table and stands still.

"Why not?" she asks me.

"Because I'm not trying to commit social suicide. Now go on." I hiss at her.

"It's quite rude not letting your little sister sit with you? I mean, even for a Slytherin, that's cold." Tom says cheekily again. I do a half turn to look at him and tell him to piss off, but Christopher starts talking.

"Actually, looks like the first year end is full. Looks like you'll have to sit here." he says to Eva. Eva just smiles cheekily at me and sits down. I turn back to Tom and flip him off.

"Wow, Y/n you really hurt my feelings." Tom says sarcastically, gaining a chuckle from Christopher.

"You know, I think I liked you better when I hated your guts." I say.

"So what I'm hearing is you don't hate me?" Tom retorts.

"What you're hearing is that you can charm my snake." I say, flipping him off once more and finally getting him to hop off. I put my arm back, replacing it in it's previous folded position. Eva leans over slightly and whispers to me.

"Who's that?" she asks.

"My ex-boyfriend." I say back dryly. Her eyes widen and she turns her head to me.

"You have an ex-boyfriend??" she half shouts.

"First of all, hush. Second of all, why are you so surprised??" she doesn't say anything, just sits back up straight with wide eyes and the sorting ceremony continues on.

By the end of it, a cloud of the first years were all up ahead of us in the hallway being lead by some prefects. Draco and I lazily waltzed to the Slytherin common room. We were just talking about random stuff on the way there and when we got inside, we were about to part our separate ways. We stood in the middle, where it splits off to go to either dorms, and kissed. It wasn't even a French kiss or anything, but right away, I noticed a cloud of first years staring. I looked at them and furrowed my eyebrows. "I will make out with him, right here." I say assertively, causing them to blush in embarrassment and look away. Draco laughs at their sheepishness and then we said our goodbyes and parted as he walked down the boy's dorms with Crabbe and Goyle, and I down the girl's way on my own.

I managed to find my dorm and stepped inside. A girl with dark hair who I just barely knew from passing sat on one of the beds. "You are... Pansy...don't tell me, Parkinson?" I guess. She nods.
