-From your POV-
I felt my eyelids flicker open and I doin began trying to make sense of my surroundings. Where in the hell am I? I sit up straight and rub my eyes and began looking around. I can tell I'm in the Hogwarts dorms and then I look across the room to see Tom sleeping peacefully and realize I'm in his dorm. I vaguely remember talking to him almost all night so I'm guessing I fell asleep and he was being polite enough to leave me be. The castle is still relatively empty anyways. It's not like anyone would've noticed the unplanned sleepover. I slowly get up and walk over to see Tom still fast asleep. I'm not sure what happened, but being away from him and then coming back, things just felt different. They felt bitter sweet. I wasn't sure if I was capable of feeling love, I knew Tom wasn't, but he did something to me. I lean over and kiss his forehead before leaving the room.

When I returned to my room, I began unpacking my suitcase. I put all my clothes away, set my mirror on the top of my dresser, and put the letters between Tom and I under my pillow. I decided to get ahead of everyone else and began reading up in my studies for when school began next week. I had been reading for about thirty minutes when I heard a knock at my door. I had left it open, so it was more so a knock on the doorframe but when I looked up, I saw Tom. I smiled at him and scooted over on my bed, making room for him to come sit down next to me. He takes me up on the offer and joins me.

"You know you have a bad habit of falling asleep quickly, right?" He teases. I laugh and lightly touch his shoulder.

"You must've bored me so much that it was easy." I reply.

"I am everything but boring, thank you very much." He says in a pretend-offended tone. We both start laughing and then we make eye contact and it goes silent.

"Tom, can we practice Parseltongue later today?" I ask him. I see his smirk quickly fade away.

"I would, but I have a 'mission' tonight." He tells me. My eyes widen as I realize what he's talking about.

"With your father?" I ask and he nods. He had explained to me how he found a way to sneak out of Hogwarts long enough to go into the Muggle world long enough to do the deed. All he needed was my help to cover for him. Of course, I agreed.

"I'll actually be leaving within the hour." He tells me. I feel my heart sink a little.

"Just, please Tom, be safe." I tell him as I look him in the eye. Our faces our mere inches apart from each other and I looked down at his lips and then back up to his eyes but before anything could happen, he broke the silence and pulled away.

"I'm going to go get prepared. I want this to be a quick deed, right?" He says. I give a small smile and nod.

What in the hell is this boy doing to me?!

The night was very quiet and uneventful. I spent my time in the common room, reading and watching the fire. I kept watching the clock nervously. Tom has left two hours ago and promised he'd only be gone for three hours. I tried to focus on my studies, but it was just too hard to do. I closed the book and slouched in the chair as I watched sparks crackle in the fire. "Why are you covering for him?" A voice asks from the back of the room. I feel my eyebrow furrow in confusion, as I thought I was the only one in here. I turn my head to see Draco standing, facing the fire with his hands in his pockets.

"How long have you been here??" I ask him. He holds up his hand and waves his finger.

"My question first." He says. I roll my eyes and turn backs I'm facing the fire.

"He had an errand to run and didn't want to get caught sneaking out." I say calmly.

"What kind of errand?" He pries.
