-From your POV-

I felt my heart stop as I recognized the prefects sitting around Tom had eyes that were glassy-blue and glossed over. He had them in a trance. I have no idea what he has planned, but it was Tom, so it probably wasn't good. My hand was on Draco's arm but I quickly let it go as I ran in front of Tom. "Tom-"

"Y/n, you need to leave." he warns.

"Not until you tell me what you're doing." I tell him.

"I'm taking care of our problem. Well, problems." he says as he pulls his wand out.

"Tom,"

"Y/n, I'm not going to tell you again. I will put you under the same trance as them if you don't move out of the way. Same goes for Malfoy." he says as he tilts his head towards Draco.

I quickly pull my wand out as I practically run out of the stands with Draco behind me. I turn to face him. "Draco, I need your help right now. Go inside to where everyone else and create a distraction that will get them to stand around and watch." I tell him. His eyes are wide with concern and he's lightly frowning but he nods. He starts to walk off but then he turns to me.

"Y/n, you have the serum right?" he asks me. I pull the vile out of my pocket and hold it up and he nods and heads off towards the building. I hear the familiar sound of the ground ripping open and have a bad feeling that Tom has opened the black waters again. I had completely forgot that Vivian was in the stands; she had been reading a book and fallen asleep.

"This is about to be bad." I mumble to myself as I pull my wand over my head and listen as the sound of hundreds of wings fluttering pool over my head. I make my way to the stands opposite of Tom and see him conjuring up the black waters. He's straining physically, signaling that whatever he has coming out is big. The basilisk. What the hell is he thinking??? "God damn you, Tom." I say as I quickly charm my drexels and send them flying into the crowds in swarms.

I watched as clouds of the knockout gas filled the stands and was followed by loud thuds from people passing out. As the clouds consumed the stands, Tom finally looked up from where he was kneeling in front of the black waters. "Y/N! STOP IT!" he yelled at me.

"I can't let you do this, Tom. You can find out what games you don't wanna play. They're going to know!" I say as the drexels finish their knockout gas and fly back to me. I see Tom get very angry and then go back to the waters, dipping his hands in. His arms started shaking as he raised them back out of the water and I saw giant black scales starting to appear. No, no no no. Oh my God. I reach into my pocket and grab out the serum and notice that Viper is awake and scurrying around, nervously, in my pocket and that's when I got the idea.

I quickly set Viper down on the field in front of me and yank the cork off the vile as more black scales emerge from the water. I pour the serum all over Viper and watch as it soaks in the skin. At first, it just glitters and then it starts growing. That's when I see the back of the Basilisk's head appear from the black pool and see Tom speaking to it in Parseltongue. "C'mon, Viper." I wait impatiently as it finally reaches it's max capacity. The serum has transformed my sweet pocket lizard to a full blown dragon at this point.

I climb back up high in the stands so the Basilisk can't easily reach me and pull my wand out. "TOM, PLEASE." I shout out across the field to him, but he ignores me and continues speaking in Parseltongue as more of the Basilisk pools out of the water, slithering it's long black body across the grass. When he finally stops speaking to it, he opens his eyes and looks back in frustration at the sleeping crowd. Then he finds where Vivian is sitting and starts speaking to it again.

I pull  my wand up an cast a charm for Viper and direct it to the Basilisk. Viper opens it's mouth and giant scarlet flames shoot out, burning much of the grass as it's giant footsteps thud against the ground in the direction of the Basilisk. Tom quickly notices what I've done and shifts his attention again, growing more angry, as he uses Parseltongue to order the Basilisk to fight Viper while he uses his wand to try and force Vivian awake. I keep using all types of charms on Viper to make sure the flames are enough to seriously scorch the Basilisk.

I watch as Viper sweeps it's mouth over the Basilisk, scorching it's black scales and causing it to make this hideous screeching sound. The Basilisk begins nipping at Viper's feet, landing a few bites, as Viper begins taking in deep breaths again, preparing for it's next attack.

The fight was probably about 40 minutes in when all of the sudden, Viper goes from having almost killed the Basilisk completely to being knocked over on the ground by the Basilisk shooting it's head straight up, hitting Viper in the chin and knock it backwards and crashing into the field. My eyes snap back to Tom who has used his wand to force Vivian's eyes open and was speaking to the Basilisk, who's speed was now increased as it raced towards the section of the stands she was in. My heart was like a hummingbird as I tried to figure out what to do; Viper was on the field injured and trying to regain it's strength, leaving only me and my knowledge vs. Tom's, a hard fight. My drexels. I almost forgot about them. I quickly began thinking of what to command them to do. I flicked my wand towards the Basilisk and they began swarming there.

I watched as the Basilisk was a mere 10 feet from her when my drexels began swarming it's eyes, causing it to let out loud roars again. The Basilisk snapped it's head once and then back, and I watched as the drexels began dropping to the ground. Only a few minutes in , and the Basilisk had killed all of my drexel army. Tom was cursing and speaking Parseltongue, and I watched helplessly as the Basilisk reached Vivian, and killed her.
