-From Albus' POV-
I had no idea what Violet's deal was; she was a hard one to figure out. She wasn't like anyone else I had ever encountered at school and it honestly threw me for a loop.
Although I was well-known, I didn't have many friends persay; I had two main ones, Ned Longbottom and Michelle Jones, but unfortunately neither of them were in Slytherin; they were both in Gryffindor. We had all became acquainted with each other on the train ride to Hogwarts during first year, hence how we were friends even with the split houses.
We were all sitting in the library when they decided to raid me with questions. "So, we've noticed you've been hanging out with Sorcier. What's up with that??" Michelle prods.
"Are you ditching us?" Ned asks.
"Are you turning into one of the die-heart Slytherins??" Michelle follows up. I hold up my hands to motion for them to calm down and let me answer.
"First of all," I begin. "remember when I told you guys about what happened at the tournament?" I ask them and they nod. "Okay, well, Violet and her mother know how to stop this all." I explained to them the entire plot; how we were all collaborating on destroying the horcruxes to stop him from killing all three of us and many many more. They asked their questions, and I answered, and we went back and forth for about an hour until one of the prefects that was working kicked us out for being too talkative.
"Good job Ned, you kept blabbering and got us kicked out." Michelle groaned out as we were walking down a corridor.
"As if you prying on about Violet Sorcier wasn't apart of it." he sasses back.
"I only asked questions about Violet Sorcier because she's the second in the class and I'm third. I need to take her spot to stick it to those stuck-up purebloods." she explains.
"How do we even know that Violet is a pureblood? I mean, she doesn't talk about her parents much." Ned highlights. I had told them almost everything about the tournament; I left out the part where the Dark Lord ended up being Violet's dad while at the same time it was revealed that he wasn't her dad because not only was that her own private information, but it was hefty and damaging information.
"Do you know, Albus?" Michelle asked me. I snapped out of my thought and looked at them.
"Hm? Oh, yes. She's a full-blood sorceress." I say calmly and they just keep staring at me. "What?" I ask them in confusion. They both just look at each other and then look away.
"Nothing. Gotta go study, see you later Albus." Michelle says proudly, grabbing Ned by his elbow and dragging him off in the direction of the Gryffindor room. I scoff at their blatant dismissal and decide to go check the owlery for anything.

I was walking down one of the main corridors with a letter in each hand, guessing in my mind which was for who and from who, when I finally made it to the Slytherin common room. It was rather empty this time of night, as most of the kids were at the Great Hall eating dinner, but I did see the familiar dark hair of Violet Sorcier.
I walked over and sat down on the couch next to her but she didn't break her gaze from her studies. "Yes, Potter?" she asked flatly, still nose in the book.
"I got two letters." I say. This does grab her attention as she quickly looks up and at me. She closed her book and set it to her side and scooted one space towards me, holding out her hands.
"Well c'mon then, let's see." she insists. I let her take one scroll into her hand and start to unravel it as I do the same with the other one. My eyes began to carefully scan over the letter and I quickly recognized Hermione's handwriting.
