-From your POV-

We sat in that embrace for one more minute before we dispersed. I stood and just stared at Tom fora minute before punching him in the chest. He stumbled back and rubbed the spot on his chest and furrowed his eyebrow. "Ow! What was that for?!" he asks slightly offended.

"So when the hell were you going to tell me about this?" I say as I motion my hands upward and flailing them around the chamber. He didn't say anything, just watched me. "Mhm I thought so." I say as I fold my arms.

"Uh... I think you're forgetting something- or someone." Draco chimes in. Tom and I break our staring contest and turn to where Draco is pointing. V has now rolled onto her back and is groaning. I walk over slowly to inspect her.

"V?" I ask. She snaps her eyes open, which are still different colors, but something is wrong with one of them. I squint so I can see better and then I realize that the right side is clouded over, the pupil blocked by swirly grey. She's blind.

"I can't see!" She shouts out, grabbing at her eye. I reach my arm out and help her come to her feet. She freaks out for a few more seconds, ignoring me trying to tell her to calm down, and then moves her hand and opens her eyes wider. She moves her eyes around, moving her face as well, giving me a clearer view of the scar which has now worsened. "Something's wrong." she says in a low and angry tone.

"What do you mean?" I ask her. Before she can answer, she puts her hand up to the back of her head and yelps in pain and Tom does the same. I turn and look at him in confusion before looking back to her. I then start to focus on the scars on her face. It looks like a small arrangement of lightning bolts. I raise my eyebrow as I start to think back to all of my readings from my dad's books and the forbidden library books until I think I remember something. I turn to Tom and say something in Parseltongue and before he answers, V does. My head snaps back to her as I realize what's happened: part of Marvolo's soul was left in V. She's practically a living, undead, horcrux. My eyes widen at the realization.

"I should've never agreed to test my loyalty." Draco whimpers from behind me. I turn my head in his direction.

"DRACO SHUT UP!" I snap at him before turning back to the two. I let out a heavy sigh as their pain seemed to have resided. "Well, looks like you're related now." I say. Tom looks up, rubbing the back of his head at V who is just panting heavily.

God, I'm never going to catch a break, am I?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

All four of us had sat in a circle on the floor of the chamber, trying to make any type of sense out of this madness. We had talked for about an hour and a half and a few things became clear; first of all, V now was going to go as Vivian Riddle, to explain the weird bond with Tom that she now had with him. If anyone asked, they were cousins. I mean, she had the dark hair to match it now so hopefully nobody would question it too much. Second of all, Draco and Vivian were now joining us, making us a group. It would now be the four of us on these stupid and overly-eventful missions that Tom and I just seemed to keep stumbling into. Third of all, for obvious reasons they were not to tell a single soul about the chamber, and we all vowed to not ever speak of Alex or anything that happened before that night again, even though Draco knew the least. Fourth and finally, Tom conjured up a scroll and a pen for me and I began forging a letter to make it seem like there was some sort of mistake with Vivian being a witch and having her transfer schools. I had no idea if this was going to work or not; it was a far stretch. But it was worth a shot. It was also the only real option we had. Even if we decided to off her, that would create more problems considering that she was now a walking horcrux. I had no idea how offing her would effect Tom, seeing as they now had some weird binding that gave them the splitting headache.

I had put the finishing touches on the letter and slid it into my robe. I'd figure out how the hell I was going to sneak the letter into the headmaster's office tomorrow. I sat back some and sighed, looking at the three of them. "Well, welcome to the madness." I tell them. Tom just swallows slightly and watches me, Viv just pokes at a loose thread on her skirt, and Draco watches me with huge eyes.

We eventually figured out a plan to leave the chamber; we were going to have to sneak out and try to get back to our dorms undetected. We eventually got out and began walking. Tom and I were walking next to each other I leaned over and whispered to him. "We need to talk." I hear him draw in a deep breath and he slightly looks down at me.

"Is everything alright?" he asks me. I chuckle at his question.

"What kind of question is that??" I ask him rhetorically. We continue walking quietly until we get to the point where it splits off to go to the boys' dorms or to the girls' dorms. Draco had started heading down the boys' direction and Vivian in the girls'. Tom and I stopped and faced each other. We just sat there and stared for a moment. "Tom, what mess have we gotten ourselves into?" I ask him with a sigh. I keep looking in his eyes for something. Often times, he seldom used his words to say what he was feeling and you could barely ever find out what he was thinking or feeling just based on his face, so I often found myself searching his eyes for some indicator. This time, they were tired and worried. He raised his hand up to my jaw, touching my cheek ever so slightly.

"You do know I love you, Y/n." he said in a somber tone. I took in a deep breath and could practically feel my pupils dilate.

"You've proven that. Many many times." I say. He smiles lightly at my words and his eyes move from mine to other features of my face. His hands find loose strands of hair in front of my ears and he begins inspecting them.

"I have, haven't I?" he says in a calm tone. He lets out a deep breath before finding my eyes again. "The question is, do you love me back, Y/n?" he asks me. I place my hands around the back of his neck.

"Yes, Tom, more than I probably should." I say. We continue gazing at each  other for a minute, I can tell that Tom's mind is moving at rapid speed right now as he processes something, but I simply can't be bothered to think right now. My brain was just tired and hurting. All I wanted was an uninterrupted nap and it turned into me saving my boyfriend's ass, Draco's ass, and Vivian's ass. That called for like 20 uninterrupted naps.

After a few minutes, we decided it was time for us to actually leave and go to our rooms now before we got in trouble, so I leaned my head into his chest and his arms wrapped around me, lightly rubbing circles on my back. "I know I just fought your crazy granddad and also turned my mom into a horcrux and saw a huge black serpent just now, but loving you is probably the craziest, unexpected, and most dangerous thing I've ever done, Tom." I whisper into his ear. I feel his muscles soften and get less tense at those words before he responds.

"The feeling is mutual, Y/n." he whispers back. I slightly  smirk at his words and then I feel him kiss the side of my head before the hug breaks.

"Goodnight, Tom." I say.

"Goodnight, Y/n." he says before turning and disappearing down the hall. I turn back around and begin walking to my room.

Oh Tom, what are we going to do?
