-From Violet's POV-
When we got into the Great Hall, there were students sat everywhere, traumatized as the heads of the houses worked at trying to count heads. Albus and I just quietly slipped onto a bench at the Slytherin table and hoped that nobody would notice.
We sat next to each other silently. I still hadn't known him very well, but something told me I was going to end up spending a lot more time with him in the future. He was the first one to break the silence. "We never really did have a proper introduction." he points out. He gently holds his hand out for me to shake. "I'm Albus Potter." he says. I look at his hand and then back up at him without shaking it.
"Violet Yvette Sorcier." I say with sass. He takes his hand back and I just sit there with my legs crossed and my arms crossed as well. Something about the air feels awkward and tense, possibly caused by my snobby attitude towards him, but what was I supposed to do about it?? We had NOTHING in common and now he wants to act all friendly.
"We don't have to become friends, if that's what you're thinking." he says, causing me to look at him.
"It's as if you read my mind." I say.
"To be quite honest, I don't want to be friends; we have nothing in common aside from our current predicament, but I will work with you during this time seeing as I don't want to die." he explains. I let out a deep sigh and roll my eyes.
"Weird; everyone wants to be friends with me." I say under my breath.
"Well I didn't say I was everyone. I said I was Albus Potter, now didn't I??" he retorts. I look up at him and glare.
"You're giving ME an attitude?!" I ask.
"I don't know, are you deaf?" he returns. I can't help but look him up and down and then turn and face front again.
Albus, we might JUST get along.

-From your POV-
So Hermione was right; Tom's first horcrux was his diary, and based on what he had written in one of his old letters, I believe he has hidden his horcruxes in many secret locations, one of them being the Chamber of Secrets.
They were all chattering among themselves, trying to figure out the best course of action. I was completely and utterly distracted by something I had found in one of the boxes; it was a picture of Draco and I in our sixth year when we were dating. It was a picture of us laughing at a Quidditch match because we had used a charm to spread glue all over the Gryffindor section of the stands where all the first years sat. I watched with soft eyes and a sad heart as our two faces were moving magically, alive, animated, and happy in the picture. "Y/n?? Hello??" Hermione snapped out, bringing me out of my thoughts.
"Forgive me, I got sidetracked." I say. "What is it?"
"What if Albus and Violet went into the Chamber and retrieved the diary?" Hermione suggests.
"That might work, actually. The Chamber used to be guarded by the Basilisk, but seeing as I sent for Smaug to kill it and he succeeded, the Basilisk is no longer a threat to them. The only two possible challenges I see are entering the Chamber, you have to speak Parseltongue to get in-" I started off before George cut me off.
"Albus speaks Parseltongue." he says. My eyebrow shrugs.
"Really?" and he nods.
"When your boyfriend killed his parents and Albus survived, part of his soul went into Albus, giving him the ability to speak Parseltongue." George explains.
