Gilbert and Ludwig HC

When Gilbert first had Ludwig as his responsibilty and his responsibilty only, he nearly had a panic attack once the realization hit him. He had no idea what to do and thought he would be a terrible brother because of this. It hit him when he was talking about it with Francis and Antonio at his house, and the two had to calm him down and reassure him.

None of them noticed the fact that Ludwig, who was about three or four in human age was standing in the doorway and heard all of Gilbert's panicked rant. Later that night, he went to Gilbert, hugged him out of the blue, and told him that he was the best brother ever. It made the Prussian cry.

From then on, Gilbert did everything in his power to truly live up to that title, be it telling Ludwig about five bedtime stories then falling asleep with him, or pretending any blood from an injury he had was tomato or whatever he could think of and hiding the injuries. Of course, Ludwig didn't buy it for even a second despite his age.

So nowadays, whenever the two brothers fight, which is extremely rare, they end up being extremely weighed down by guilt. Gilbert because he always finds a way to put himself at fault and would start thinking himself a horrid brother, and Ludwig because he knows how much Gilbert did for him, and the least he could to show his gratitude was be more tolerant to his behavior.

Someone usually has to force the two to talk it out, because they're always convinced the other doesn't want to hear it, but when they finally get to it, an apology isn't always even needed.

In conclusion, those two are the freaking cutest brother pair ever and you can't tell me otherwise-
