So, Switzerland is famous for their banks, correct? An uncountable amount of people leave an even more uncountable amount of money in their banks. Legit, there are some vaults that only open a century after the owner's death. They even still have some vaults with currency that isn't even valid anymore-
BUT ANYWAY, cutting to the point, imagine how many nations entrusted their money with Switzerland, because they all know that's the safest place for it.
If any of them attack Switzerland, Vash can easily blackmail them to stop.
Vash can throw the world into an economical crisis.
Don't mess with him, not just because he's scary and will shoot you, but also because of fear of going broke.
Unless you're already broke.
