Jungkook's pov:

Kai. That was the only name that was running through Jungkook's head. Jungkook was laying in bed looking at the ceiling his earbuds plugged in as he listened to loud music.

Kai was the male who often called Jungkook the guppy of the freshman basketball team because of how little he was, with the addition that he was bad at the sport. Of course Jungkook got better at the sport. Everyday after school he would put in his effort in the sport to change his name from guppy to all-star.

With enough practice Jungkook had already changed his name. All of his freshman teammates praised his skills when they went to play at games. However, Kai was the only basketball player who never led up the name 'guppy'.

As Jungkook thinks of the male his fists clench he grips at the bed sheets. A shadow figure stand above him. He picks his head up only seeing his brother he places it back down.

A hand reaches out and pops his earbud out. Junghyun begins, "Mom and dad are worried. You've been acting different. Told me to come talk to you." Jungkook rolls his eyes annoyed that his earbud was pulled out.

"Well tell them I'm fine. Just tired from school is all." Jungkook says ready to plug his earbud back in. Before he could do that Junghyun snatches the wire from his hand. Again Junghyun speaks, "That's not all. You went from being good a physics to being bad."

Jungkook shrugs his shoulder not really caring. The only reason why he ever became good at physics was because Taehyung would teach him. Now that Taehyung wasn't there to teach him he didn't really care for the class.

Junghyun turns his head back nodding as if signaling someone to come in. With that nod Mrs. Jeon enters the room. Her slippers sound as she walks over to Jungkook's bed. She sighs sitting down beside Jungkook.

The boy really just wanted to be alone with his thoughts. He didn't want to talk to his mom, surely not his brother, he didn't even want to talk to his friends. Mrs. Jeon brushes his fringe out of his face. With a worried tone she ask, "What's wrong, bunny?"

Jungkook groans at the nickname. That was an old nickname that they would call him when he was five. When he turned thirteen he strictly asked for them to not call him by it ever again. For the longest they hadn't called him by the nickname.

Jungkook was about to complain, but stopped himself as he finally took a look at his mom. For once his mom looked extremely pale, her hair was a mess, and she wore not even a single smudge of makeup.

"Bunny, please tell me what's wrong?" his mom pleads. Jungkook gets up hugging his mom tightly. He never meant to cause such worry upon his mom. "I'm fine. I just stopped getting tutored in physics class."

Jungkook pulls away fixing his mom's messy hair. She smiles, "Who was your tutor? Did something happen to them?"

Jungkook shook his head and replied, "The Kim's son was my tutor. We just stopped meeting after a while that's all."

Junghyun eyes Jungkook a small glow in his eyes. His mother simply nods her head dragging Junghyun out of the door happy that her son was fine, but sad that he was beginning to delay in his classes.

Again for the rest of the night Jungkook just kept on repeating the name Kai.
