I run back to the bar without getting hit and with fast movements, I dive for my purse. I sigh in relief when my gun is still there. My eyes darts back to Kayn, he's holding a gun.
Did he bring it from Andromeda? Or did he get it here? Why does he have it? Is he planning on executing people?
My thoughts are cut off as a bullet smashes Kayns beer bottle into a hundred pieces in front of me. It almost scratched my arm.
My heartbeats are starting to get irritatingly loud and I try to inhale and exhale slowly.
I got this, no need to panic, everything will be just fine.
"Gianna!" I can hear Stacys' voice near me as I dive for cover behind the bar.
My eyes scan the area but I can't detect her. I'm peeking above the counter, it's just a sea of people running around.
I know my father isn't the killing-innocent-kind-of-guy but we're the targets though...
My father wouldn't kill me, his men on the other hand? I have no clue.
"G!" I hear as Arkin slides over the bar and kneels beside me. His dark hair in a ruffled mess and I give him a suspicious look.
"What have you been up to, huh?" My eyebrows go up and down studying his red face. The shirt he's wearing is even inside out for heaven sake.
"Oh shut your mouth, would ya? We're in the middle of a gunfight and you wanna talk about my sex life?" Arkin laughs uncontrollably and I join in.
"What's so funny?" Stacy says who swiftly jumped over the bar to sit on my other side with a gun in her hands. She holds it tightly while waiting for us to answer.
"G here is just snooping in our lovemaking sessions." Arkin lets out with a chuckle. I smack him hard on the arm for snitching.
"I did not!" I try to defend myself.
"You guys are babies, really," Stacys states and roll her eyes at us before rising up to peek over the bar. Her hair is up in the usual ponytails on each side of her head.
"You see Kayn?" I ask but she's taking to long to answer so I get up beside her.
"Are we cowards?" Arkin asks but we ignore him as our eyes are glued to the four, armed, tuxedo men talking to Kayn. "I feel like a chicken. We should get in there, and show em how it's done."
"Baby please..." Stacy whispers.
"We need to get closer, I can't hear anything," I start to crawl towards the exit of the bar.
"Follow my lead kids." Stacy hisses in a low voice as she smoothly jumps over the bar. I glance at the crawling Arkin behind me who gives me a thumbs up.
"You got it G. I believe in ya!" He whispers with a wide smirk. I flip him my finger before jumping over the bar.
We crawl on the now empty dance floor and hide behind a shelf that's been pushed to the floor.
"They'll see us," Arkin mumbles.
"More likely hear us, so shut the fuck up," I say calmly as my ears are trying their best to snoop.
My vision consists of a calm Kayn surrounded by the four tuxedo men, all pointing their weapons at him. They all wear plain expressions, it's intimidating.
"We'll speak to the gracious one." One of them says.
"I got it covered," Kayn says mockingly with a smile on his face.
