The gun is being fired. As soon as the noise smashes heard through our ears Dexters men rush out to the garden. They yell amongst each other while raising the guns.

Kayn is standing in the middle with his casual smile intact.

Never scared. At least he never gives it away.

"Let's go G," Arkin announces beside me.

We're still hiding behind a huge rock close to the forest. Out of eyesight.

"We need them to take him in first." I counter. Not wanting to ruin another mission of ours.

"I've heard Mr McQoids been asking for me." Kayn continues as the man approaches him. "I'm here to surrender." His hands go up in the air as the gun falls down touching the grass.

Dexters boys attack him in a matter of seconds. Thankfully he's not struggling. I'm happy for his willingness to be the bait. I can't promise to get him out though.

Arkin and I start to rush towards the back entrance. He climbs up the fence stopping at the top to reach his hand out for me.

"I'm fully capable of doing this myself." I spit out and start my way up.

"Suit your self." He swiftly jumps over the fence. A few seconds later my feet touches the gravel. I follow his lead, there's no guards on this side. Probably rushed over to help with Kayn.

"This way." Arkin grabs my arm and drags me in the mansion. My body is filling up with adrenaline. I'm praying that this won't end up in another bloodbath.

We're sneaking around the lobby and slowly taking ourselves to the spiral staircase. She's up in one of those bedrooms.

"Hey, Arkin." I grab his arm to stop him. "I just wanna say thank you. For always being there you know. I appreciate it."

"Yeah of course. Don't go all softie on me now." He gives my shoulder a light push then we continue our walk. I let out a small laugh, trying to stay calm.

"So here we goo," Arkin says as he pushes up the door. I follow closely. "Stace." He rushes over to the blond girl sitting at the end of the bed. A hint of recognition is seen in her face but she doesn't let us see more than that.

"Are you okay? I've been so worried!" Arkin continues while examining her. His fingers are slowly touching her face, then arms looking for injuries.

I slam the door shut.

"Stacy, what happened?" Her eyes dart up to me. So lifeless. So empty.

"Nothing, why are you here?" She pushes Arkin off herself. Walking towards me. "You know he told me everything."

"What are you talking about? Dexter?" The look she's giving me isn't friendly the least. She's not happy we came here. She doesn't want to be saved.

"He'll take me there," Stacy adds her lip twitching slightly. "I'm almost one of them anyway, and do I dare say it feels amazing?"

"Take you where?" I let out the words slowly.

"To Andromeda, to see my mother." She announce.

"It's Dexter Stace. He's got no idea of what's going on. He won't take you there. He's just using you for his own benefits. You know this." I take a step closer to her with my pleading eyes.

"Like you do? Tell me where you and your father are different from any of this? All you've ever wanted from me is help. Favors. Assistance. I'm done with that. I have a chance of doing something better and I'll take that."
