I lasted for two minutes. That's all the will power I had stored, truth be told I'm done making my father happy. It doesn't seem to work out either way. I'll have to start following my heart, right now it's telling me to find Stacy.
My feet are taking me down the halls and soon I'm standing in front of Miranda's desk at the headquarters. People aren't really noticing my arrival, everyone is so fed up with the crystal eyed men.
"Hey, Miranda?" I wave in her face and she sighs while lifting her grey eyes up to meet mine. Her perfectly picked eyebrows are lifting.
"What can I do for you?" Miranda is the receptionist who also dates my father.
"I need some clothes." My eyes go down to the pajamas I'm wearing. She looks me over with a horrific gaze.
"Oh my..." Her hand goes up to cover her O shaped red lips. "What happened to you?" She shakes her head and I can't help but roll my eyes.
"I was in the cells. Now can you help me or not?" Without answering she jumps up of her seat, the red hair is bouncing up and down as she's pushing me towards the employee rooms.
"You did the right choice to come to me, Miss Clermont." She opens up the doors to her gigantic walk-in closet. "You can always come to me in crisis like this."
"Thanks, I knew I could count on you." I laugh.
She's running around the closet like she's on a timer. Throwing clothes all around the floor looking for the perfect outfit.
"I just need something sim...." I try but she hush me and I sip my lips. I've never seen Miranda so focused. Not even in her work state.
"Aha! This!" She holding up a pair of blue jeans and a black tank top.
"That's actually," I get up to grab them from her grip. "perfect."

I've snatched a pile of car keys not really sure which one goes to whom. The parking house is dead to my happiness so I open up my purse to find the keys. The purse is tiny but somehow I manage to lose those fuc...
"Aouch!" I yelp as my head slams into something hard.
Instinctively my hand goes up to rub my forehead. The pain is drifting through my head like lightning bolts. My vision is starting to get filled with white and black dots.
"My apologies, miss." I hear someone close to me and my eyes drift up. I slammed into a person.
"Ehm...That's not, ehm not a problem." I say to the tall, blonde man standing in front of me. Never seen him around before but his suit matches the others around here.
"Are you hurt?" He lets out with a hint of concern in his voice. His blue eyes are studying me from top to toe almost as if he's checking me out. I wrinkle my nose as his cologne hits my nostrils
"Who are you? Do you work here?" I'm trying to keep my voice steady. Something about him makes me feel uncomfortable.
Maybe I've just gotten paranoid after everything.
"Kenji is the name." He exchange his hand and carefully I shake it. A smirk is playing on his lips. Probably amused by my strange behavior.
"I'm G..."
"Gianna!" Carters echoing voice interrupts me and I drop my hand from Kenji's unnecessarily stern grip.
My eyes drift to the elevators behind the tall man but Carter is nowhere to be seen so I twirl to look the other way.
