"Arkin! What the hell are you doing?" I yell at him as I jump out of the car. "I almost killed you!" He just stands there with his palm up in the air as if I were aiming a gun at him. The air is tucking my hair against my skin. "Put your hands down."

"I...let me join you." He finally says after a minute of silently watching each other. My eyes are narrowed but I give him a quick nod.

We jump in the car and he fills me in on how Stacy left him. It's heartbreaking.

"I get it the girl always wants the bad guy." Arkin pity himself and I feel sorry for him. She did break his heart but I'm sure she had a reason for it. Knowing Dex, he gave her an ultimatum.

"Look at us..." A voice that isn't Arkins says.

I let out a loud shriek and lose control of the steering wheel. My eyes meet a pair of crystal blue in the review mirror.

"G!" Arkin grabs a hold of the wheel and stare us back on track again.

My mouth is wide open and I try to remember how to breathe.

"The gang is reunited." My heart is slamming loudly in my chest and I get a feeling it'll break free soon.

"Kayn! What the.. how long have you been there?" My voice is high pitched. I turn to face him, an amused smile is playing on his lips.

"Oh did I startle you, darling?" He snickers while casually relaxing against the middle seat. "My bad." Kayn folds his arms on his chest and winks at me. "Missed ya."

"You're insane!" There's no humor in my voice. "How did you get in here?"

"G, take the wheel!" Arkin yells and brings me back. I turn myself around and take control of the vehicle again.

"I teleported." I hear Kayn say. Arkin is trying to catch his breath beside me.

"Oh. My. God." Arkin says the words slowly. I can see him turning to face Kayn. Watching the alien if it were some sort of God. "You can teleport?"

Arkins words makes me relax little, at least he's human.

"One of many talents," Kayn confirms, I can picture the satisfying expression on his face.

"He's messing with you," I say. I'm starting to get a hold of Kayns weird humor.

"Aww." Arkin let's out and slams his foot against the floor.

Kayn explains he planted the key in my jacket and been sleeping in the backseat. Apparently, our discussion about heartbreak bored him to death so he couldn't stay hidden any longer.

I'm silently thanking god that he's here. After I find Stacy, the mission of retrieving my memories will start.

Arkin and Kayn start to discuss different squad names and I let myself sink into deep thoughts. My mind isn't mentally prepared for all this new information. I don't know how to digest it, since I don't even know what is true or false.

I try to focus on the lyrics from the music filling the car. Trying to think of something else. Arkin is asleep and I don't really want to continue my talk about galaxies with Kayn in his presence.

"You've ever been to a casino babycakes?" I hear Kayn say from the back seat. I cast him a look in the mirror.

"Yes, why?" He's so casual all the time. I wonder how he does it. Pretend that everything is fine, maybe it's the pill.

"Wanna teach me?" I let out a laugh. His eyebrows rise questioning at me.

"You want to visit a casino?" I watch him in disbelief. "I need to find Stacy." There are more important matters here than to give Kayn a taste of the tellarius lifestyle.
