"What happened to your hand?" Kayns fingers are suddenly caressing my bruised skin. The result of my temper at the cells. He doesn't seem to mind the army that's heading our way.
"Ehm.." I try to catch my breath as he's making me slightly nervous. My eyes spectate his worried face.
Is he worried about me? No he can't be stupid, he dosen't feel.
"It's nothing," I assure him and turn to look at the men approaching us.
"Sure doesn't look like nothing." His thumb lightly brushes one of my knuckles and I wince. "We need to get that checked." He's forcing me to meet his gaze.
"Sorry to interrupt you guys but we're surrounded." Thankfully Arkin shows up beside us and I drag my hand away from Kayns. A chill feeling floats around my body as the connection is cut.
I dart my eyes around the casino lobby, looking for the exits. I still have the gun in my purse but there are at least ten men headed for us. The bounty hunter is standing leaning against the stairs in front of us, just smiling.
"We should go with them," Kayn says casually. Both me and Arkin watch him with skepticism. He shrugs his shoulders. "We're here to get Stacy right, and the pills?" I nod. My eyes flounders to Dexters boys slowly approaching us. "Let's get a ride."
"We really suck at this running away thing, don't we?" Arkin says and I can't disagree.
"We're gonna fight," I demand opening my purse grabbing the gun. Arkin lets out a horrific grunt.
"We can't." He counters.
"No killing this time." I turn to face Kayn who's smirking at me.
"Anything for you babe." He simply says.
I turn away from them aiming the gun at the first man approaching us. He's wearing a stylish suit and neutral facial expression. His gun is lifting, aiming at me and I glare straight into the black hole.
"You need me alive, don't you?" I say and the man just keeps staring. Not uttering a word. A shot is fired from my side. Turning my gaze I see Kayn with a gun.
Where is he hiding all of them?
The man is coming closer. Lowering his gun. Lifting his arms, most likely to grab me. I duck before he catches me. With a swift movement, I hold out my leg making him fall to the floor. I raise myself up and give him a kick in the stomach. He grabs the end of my foot making me fall hard to the floor. My head touches the marble floor making me wince in pain.
"Fuck." I yelp trying to get on my feet again. The man is fast. He hovers over me. Holding my wrists pressed against the floor.
"Don't make this hard sugar." He breathes close to my mouth and my stomach turns. Squirming like a crazy warm under him, I manage to smash my forehead against his. He falls to the side gripping the sore place. Rapidly I get a hold of the gun, without hesitation I shoot his foot.
Someone is grabbing me from behind. Capturing my arms. I use my head once more as a weapon, nudging it against a face. I can hear a cracking noise, most likely the nose. My elbow goes into the stomach and he loses the grip. I turn around and place a shot in his lower leg.
My eyes drift to the other side of the lobby, Arkin is being pressed against the floor. A gun is pointed towards his face. I rush over and jump to the aiming man. With a loud smack, we fall to the floor.
"Great timing G," Arkin mutters. Getting up on his feet. The man on the ground growls while doing the same. I follow the lead.
He takes a few steps backward, the gun is firmly pointed at me. I lift mine as well. Taking the challenge.
