"Your life is pretty boring, to be honest," Kenji mutters as he walks into the room. "I would've thought that the gracious one would be more of a..." He stops and scratches his chin searching for a proper word. "Blast."

"Where are they?" I ignore his attempt to get under my skin.

"They are just fine." He waves his hand dismissively while taking a seat in the chair in front of me. "For now that is." He adds while dragging his fingers through the blonde hair.

"Don't hurt them, I'll do whatever you want." I stare blankly into his eyes, trying to show my loyalty.

"I like the sound of that." Kenji smiles and straightens his white shirt that's hugging his body tight.

"So what is it that you want from me?"

"Well you see I was about to get executed for the murder of the all-mighty Seraphina." He complains without any signs of regret. The way he utters my mother's name is making my heart sting with pain.

"My brother wanted to play the hero so he ran off to get the evidence to free me. The problem was that I did actually commit the crime." Keji shakes his head. "My brother has this family loyalty thing going on, he thinks I never lie but when you're fighting for your life you kind of have to."

"Can you get to the point?" I pierce my eyes towards his emerald ones. They shine slightly but not at bright as Kayns.

Kenji chuckles and before I know it his hand is slapping my face. Leaving a burning pain behind. My eyes water slightly and I do my best to hold it in.

"My brother has been nice to you I can tell. As for me, I'm not." He bites his bottom lip as if to hold in a smile. "You will not speak to me like that, understood?"

I give him a small nod while biting my tongue, hindering the flow of curses I want to hurl at him.

"So back to the story. I was amazed by the devotion Kayn had towards freeing me and I decided to get on board. Brotherly love and all that." He chuckles.

"I told Kendric what had happened with Seraphina as the memories started to come back to me. I convinced him to let me come get you." He gestures towards me with a proud expression.

"And why are we still here?" I dare to let out. My mind is telling me to keep quiet but my mouth seems to have its own will.

If going to Andromeda is what I have to do to save my loved ones, I'll do it.

"You see, I want the safety for me and my brother guaranteed. To do so I need you to tell me where the weapon is." I look at him with confusion.

"What weapon?"

"Okay, maybe not a weapon. More of a device. That'll speed up the gravity process."

"I don't remember anything and I've never heard of a weapon." I clarify.

"Well, that's where I come in. I'll help retrieve your memories." Everyone is so devoted to giving me my memories back, still I have no clue about anything.

"Why don't you just let Kendric do that?" I argue with hopes of him letting it go. I'm not into sharing this massive secret with him.

"As I told you, he'll kill me and my brother. I can't have that. I need leverage." Kenji gives me a small nod then walks out of the room without any further explanation.

I've been sitting on this metallic chair for far too long now. A claustrophobic feeling is starting to take over me, feels like those white walls will crush me at any moment now.
