I look around my new apartment. The walls were bare and empty. The only thing on the floors was my boxes. Such new possibilities here. My first home, so many new memories to create here. I hear footsteps behind and turn to see my best friend Jungkook and boyfriend Jackson up the stairs.

"Is that the last of it?" I ask and Jackson nods. The boys gently place the boxes down on the floor. Jungkook wipes his hands on his pants before checking the watch on his wrist.

"Oh shit." He mutters. "Hey I gotta go, Seokjin needs me at the restaurant in twenty minutes." I nod and Jackson makes his way over to me.

"Thank you so much Jungkook for helping me. I'll see you at work tonight." Jungkook nods his head goodbye at Jackson and closes the door behind him. I look around at all the boxes and sigh.

"So much work to do," I mumble when I feel arms wrap around me.

"mmm, we could skip all the work. Maybe break in your new place." Jackson offers, placing his chin in the crook of my neck. I tilt my head, looking around at the pile of boxes.

"Sorry babe, not tonight. I need to unpack." Jackson groans and begins to softly kiss my neck.

"Are you sure?" He purrs in my ears making me roll my eyes and unwrap his arms from around me.

"Maybe some other time." He frowns and pulls away.

"Well, I should probably go to. Some of the boys wanted to go out." Jackson pulls out his phone and types a fast message.

"Oh, well can you come over and help me unpack tomorrow?" I ask standing on my tiptoes and kissing him on the lips.

"Sorry, hun. I have way to much work to do." I frown and let go of Jackson.

"Alright, well you better get going. Don't want to hold up the boys." Bending down, my hands grab a box labeled 'Bedroom'.

"Thanks, see you tomorrow!" Jackson gives me a quick kiss on the head before heading out the door as well.

"Bye," I say quietly, flinching when the door slams behind him. I pick up the box and carry it carefully up the spiral staircase. One by one each of the boxes begin to get unpacked. First I started with the kitchen, then the living room. Finally going onto my bedroom last. I was currently in front of the inset shelving, filling it with my books. I was on the final shelf placing a book when the wood makes a strange sound. Confused I pick the book up and then put it back. There it was the same sound. I toss the book to my side and lean in closer to the shelf.

"Huh?" As I push down on one end of the shelf and the other end pops up. Curiously I pull the board out and place it next to me. Inside the hollowed space is a book. I pull it out and hold it up to the light. Not able to see the cover properly I shuffle over to one of the open windows. The bright sun shines in and illuminates the cover. I blow on the cover, clearing the navy blue cover from dust. Infancy gold lettering, I recognize Korean words. My Korean from high school was still rusty but it was easy enough. 'Poems for the Heart'. I gently open the cover, the first page has a poem. Scanning the page I can read only a few words. But what I can read are the handwritten notes in English on the edges of the page. They are labeled as memories. I flip through the rest of the book and see it was covered in small drawings and notes. I go back to the front and see a note on the inside of the cover.

'Only in dreams' signed P.J. I only ever knew one person with the initials P.J. but it could be common. May it was a Patrick Jane or a Patty Johnson. But then why would the book in Korean? I flip through the book again and hit the back cover. It felt unusually thick, and I see a small little ribbon. I pull gently on the blue ribbon and part the cover is pulled back. Inside was a dainty little key, about the size of one of my fingers. I pull it out and hold it against the light. It looked like it came straight out of an old history book. The part which would unlock a lock was just two little squares with a space between them. The opposite side of the key was a circle. Inside was an emblem, four long and skinny ovals forming a plus sign. There were gaps between the circle and the ovals, creating empty spaces. I gently place the key back in its spot and continue to look through the book.

I quickly check the time and sigh. There wasn't enough time to continue to look through this. Reluctantly I tuck it into my nightstand and return to placing my books on the shelf. I go through the rest of my boxes, filling my closet with my clothes and getting all my cosmetics and other things safely tucked away in the bathroom. I walk back down the stairs and admire my hard work. All the mountains of boxes were unpacked. There was a bookshelf with tv inside. My couch was sitting in front of it. The only thing I had left was to fill my fridge. I check the time again and quickly run back up the stairs to change into my uniform for work.
