I watch as she walks around the kitchen. Making another breakfast for me, trying to make it all up.
"Here you go, sweetie." My mother places a plate of hot pancakes and fresh fruit in front of me. "Oh come on sweetie. You need to eat up." I push away the plate and quickly try to finish the last page in my chapter.
"I'm fine," I mumble and my mom sighs.
"Are you still mad about me making you move back in with us?" She asks and I nod my head. "That was a week ago. It was for you, to help you." I close my book sharply and jump off my chair.
"I'm going to open the cafe now." I turn and walk away with my book safely tucked beneath my arm.
"You can't ignore me forever Jimin! I'm your mother for God's sake!" I stop in my tracks and turn to glare at her.
"You don't act like it." I spit back, taking my mother by surprise.
